Which US coast do you prefer, West Coast or East Coast?

Which US coast do you prefer, West Coast or East Coast?

I just put this out there because, although I am a die hard California girl, I do plan on visiting friends out east and want to hear your opinions.

    I'm from New York so of course I have to go with the East coast. Although I have no problems with the west coast. California has always been a place I'd like to visit.

    Same goes for me, just the other way... I'd love to go visit New York, but han't gotten there yet, soon... =)

    I've gotta be honest, I'm a little scared of the place. I'm a true Californian, laid back, cruisin' along, enjoying the scene, you guys there in New York seem to be in a huge hurry, it's crowded, and people are mad! Just sayin' 'that's the impression that I get'. =)

    I'm completely familiar with that whole New Yorker stereotype. Not everyone here is like that. My friends who came here from Florida to visit were nervous about coming here too for all the same reasons you were. But once they were here they had a great time. We may seem like we're in a hurry and mad all the time but New Yorkers are nice people. I guess it's all a matter of opinion though. Personally, I love living in New York.

    Oh hey, I still want to go, but do you remember the movie with Michael J Fox, 'The Secret of my Success' (I think)? He's a guy from the mid west, going to New York to be a stock broker. As soon as he gets there, a taxi driver offers to take him where he needs to go, packs all of his belongings into the car and drives away... lol! I can just see that happening to me!!!

    thats the tough one, I like the warmth of the West coast but also miss seeing the change in the seasons of the East coast

    Thats tough! Middle and North eastern coast is way cool. Northern Cal is fascinating. Haven't seen above Oregon.

    Now there's some wishful thinking for me! No, it's not, I just live by the beach and do like to go to Mavericks. I haven't been able to change the picture since I put it there. :)
