Why thank you Jim! LOL If only more men felt that way. In my case I can't really help it, from my illnesses & the meds I have to take, but people can be so rude. Its funny I still feel like I look like I did before I got sick, which was pretty smokin' but then I see my reflection. . . .Oh well At least there's someone out there who still appreciates us! ;-)

LOL Honey, I used to get crowds of tiny women following me around the bar, trying to make themselves feel better by telling me how "I'm sure there is a guy out there for you, who won't mind your looks" because they couldn't deal with the fact that their tiny little aeorobocized, liposuctioned, younger rear ends were not getting any more attention for them I was always out on the dance floor, always had men swamping my table. It was not negative attention, except from jealous women and insecure men.
And, no, for the record, I was not wearing revealing clothing, most of the time. Though I did sometimes wear spandex pants and I did sometimes wear tank tops, both of which are no-no's for the larger woman. Except I looked damned good in them, because I had great muscle tone and a wonderful skeletal structure and that, sweetheart, counts for far more than if a person is large or small. I'd rather be a severely overweight, but strong and healthy female filled with personal self confidence than a starved, underweight, surgically altered, insecure little things who had to worry about her bones breaking all the time.
Don't assume that just because someone is not your personal preference in looks, to get or to be, means that they only get negative attention! sheesh! -
Not all people are overweight because of overeating! I am disabled, with a variety of ailments that cause weight gain, most of the many medications I must take to survive also cause weight gain. I am unable to get "Normal" exercise because of these ailments & I have gained a lot of weight in recent years. I DO NOT OVEREAT!!!!!! In fact, I often forget to eat!
I am always amazed at how prejudiced & rude people like you can be toward those of us who are not as fortunate as you to have good health. Open your eyes PAWaite, & try judging each person out there on their own merits, rather than lumping each of us into groups by our color, creed, size or social class! -

i think you can damn well wear what you want, but some reavealing clothes that can look ok on smaller women, just do not look right on bigger women. you should wear what fits your body type, and if you do that it will look better than any revealing clothes out there. -
I agree, to some extent. But, then, I knew a guy, Paul, who loved big women, the bigger the better. My sister asked him, once, if there was an upper limit "LIke, if a woman weighted 500 lbs .." and he interrupted, a gleam of lust in his eye, barking out "Why? Do you know one? Where can I find her?"
He wouldn't want to see skinny women in revealing clothes, because to him they would look unfinished. And if you told him a woman who looked like the Pillsbury dough boy was out with her biscuits popping out all over due to her revealing clothes, well .. he would go out to meet her, armed with roses and a grin. -

I think on one hand it's their choice and I'm glad that they can feel comfortable enough in their own skin to wear whatever they want. But on the other hand, I cover myself up because people don't need to see everything you have; people just shouldn't wear things that make them look trashy. -
Answered no, It's just not right ...
I mean they can do it, they are free to do it, but I think it is tacky. They should wear clothing that makes them look sophisticated and beautiful not revealing and slutty (sorry) I mean that is just my opinion but I have nothing against anyone who does wear revealing clothes. -
I think that goes for everyone! I personally prefer a look that is sophisticated, sultry, beautiful and romantic, or even punk sexy but where the wildness, sexiness, etc. is more defined by cut and texture and less by amount of skin displayed.
Kind of like, well, you know .. the Beatles were sexy in their suits and in their Mod sort of black turtleneck and pants outfits. Brendan Frasier was sexy in a loin cloth as George. But, if you were going out to dinner and a movie, which one would you rather your date dressed like?
Or, for the otherly inclined, Sophia Loren in, oh, pretty much any clothes she ever wore versus Britney Spears in her red latex see-through top.
But, some of that is still attitude over even dressing style. After all, Sophia Loren could out-class many young ladies while wearing nothing at all. -

Some say, "well as long as it's flattering..." Who's to say what's flattering? If you're comfortable, you do you whether anyone else likes it or not. If you're a size 2 with baggy sweat pants and a wholy, oversized t-shirt on, is that better than a size 22 in fitted jeans and a halter? Definitely not. I'm a size 14 and holding; too big to be skinny, too little to be fat and I wear what I want. I don't care what ANYbody thinks about it.
But I will say this. No matter what your size, geographical region, lifestyle, do not EVER go outside the house with rollers in your hair and slippers on your feet! ;-) -

You know what?
Most people judge fat based on photoshop Media!
I even have a vid of it in my media on my profile!
What do the magazine covers think is skinny? A size .5???
It's gross
Girls think, okay to be pretty, to have guys wanna be with me, I have to make myself a pinthin girl, Guys are the same way I suppose, Its just
NOT FAIR!
But there is a boundary line to dressing appropriately for your weight,
whatever it is.
Just cos you weigh the significance of that of a Wooden pole, doesn't mean you should dress like a skank, even though you do see an awful lot of that

I don't see what's wrong with it. "Big" women are attractive, too.
