In Philadelphia, a federal appeals court decided that CBS would not have to pay the $550,000 fine to the FCC for Janet Jacksons nipple slip at the Superbowl a couple years back. What do you guys think about the ruling?

Today, George Bush decided to lift the executive ban on offshore drilling. He stated that new technologies would make the process safer, and that doing something about the rising energy costs was crucial. Opponents to his decision feel that energy companies have more than enough places to look for oil, but have stalled in investing in these places due to the record profits they are reaping. North Korea issued a statement today that said, "We are not now engaged in any [uranium] enrichment activities or [nuclear] proliferation activities, and will not engage in them in the future." Bush welcomed the move and said he would remove North Korea from his list of nationrs that sponsor terror, in addition to lifting sanctions on North Korea due to the Trading With Enemies Act. Bush did go on to say, however, that North Korea's statement would have to be verifiable. What do you guys think? Will North Korea stop its nuclear program? Or are they just pulling our leg...
