If I didn't know better, I'd think Palin was running for prez, and McCain was her grandfather. All the news everywhere is saying, "she's stealing the show". What do you think?

Bush" Thursday night as he embarked on the final lap of his audacious bid to become the nation's first black president. "Now is not the time for small plans," the 47-year-old Illinois senator told an estimated 84,000 people packed into Invesco Field, a huge football stadium in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains.

Mom said it wouldn't even BE an issue if it wasn't for that reporter who's part of the international [REDACTED] conspiracy! And now we have to stay in Phoenix because we can't be seen at our other 9 houses. And you know living in Phoenix can be a total drag in the summer! It like never gets cold enough to wear fur! So check this out--mom will turn the a/c down REALLY cold like 48 and we'll put on our mink coats!!! We’ll like walk around the house and pretend it’s winter somewhere and make hot cocoa and stuff. She’s so crazy!!! Oh--and before I forget...just a little clarification - in that other post, when I used the term “faggy mcfagfag” it’s totally NOT like using the F-bomb. I mean, it’s just like a funny expression. I am so NOT like anti gay or anything. I love Will and Grace even though it’s on Lifetime which Mom says is run by the [REDACTED]. See-I owned it - right? You have to like just deal with things to make them work - like when I was little and Dad was up for reelection and the whole Keatings 5 thing was in the news, his campaign manager guy made us take in that Bangaladesh girl--it could have been bad but it helped Dad win and now she’s almost like a real sister! So, to sum it up, we were like Angelina waaaay before it was cool to go to Africa and get kids. See, so there’s one example of making things work when you think that they might not. Therefore, it’s like being positive is better! And you know, my “sister” and all. Although I do have to say there are limmits - I mean, she may come to ASU next year - I totally hope not because then she’ll rush Kappa Kappa Gamma and it’s going to be REALLY awkward, cause she doesn’t fit in--NOT because she’s dark or anything. I’m NOT a racist and that’s NOT what it’s about. It’s that we would HAVE to let her in the house instead of really WANTING her. So you see the difference? And also, nobody like a "pity Kappa!" I feel so bad for Mom. She’s soooo stressed out all the time with the campaign and everything. She’s worried she’ll get fat like Michelle Obama. OMG, she must be like a size 2 or 4 or something. Mom said “Shoot me if I get that fat!” I feel so bad for Mom. She’s so stressed out. But she DOESN’T have an eating disorder (And neither do I! LOL!!) She’s not like the Liebermans--talk about eating disorders! OMG!! Dad had them over at our pig roast the other night - they are SO weird - they totally wouldn’t eat anything if there was a camera around, but as soon as the cameras turned off, they ate like half a pig! I mean, I can understand Madassa Leiberman (the wife) not wanting to be fotographed eating like any woman because if your a woman your not supposed to be seen eating, but Joe’s a guy so who cares? Right? Oh, and that other thing Mom said about black people was soooo out of contexts. I mean, Mom is totally NOT racist. I mean, 3 or 4 of her maids are black, so how could she be racist? If she were racist, then she WOULDN'T have hired them in the first place. And I’m sure if Mr. Obama wasn’t running against Dad, Mom never would have called Mr. Obama a [REDACTED]

John went to visit his 90-year-old grandfather in a very secluded, rural area of West Virginia . After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast. However, John noticed a film like substance on his plate, and questioned his grandfather asking, 'Are these plates clean?' His grandfather replied, 'They're as clean as cold water can get em. Just you go ahead and finish your meal,Sonny!' For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about the plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like dried egg and asked, 'Are you sure these plates are clean?' Without looking up the old man said, 'I told you before, Sonny, those dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't want to hear another word about it!' Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was leaving, his grandfather' s dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass. John yelled and said, 'Grandfather, your dog won't let me get to my car'. Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV, the old man shouted, 'COLDWATER, GO LAY DOWN NOW, YAH HERE ME!!!'

BILLINGS, Mont. (July 19) - A federal judge has restored endangered species protections for gray wolves in the Northern Rockies, derailing plans by three states to hold public wolf hunts this fall. U.S. District Judge Donald Molloy in Missoula granted a preliminary injunction late Friday restoring the protections for the wolves in Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. Molloy will eventually decide whether the injunction should be permanent. The region has an estimated 2,000 gray wolves. They were removed from the endangered species list in March, following a decade-long restoration effort. Environmentalists sued to overturn the decision, arguing wolf numbers would plummet if hunting were allowed. They sought the injunction in the hopes of stopping the hunts and allowing the wolf population to continue expanding. "There were fall hunts scheduled that would call for perhaps as many as 500 wolves to be killed. We're delighted those wolves will be saved," said attorney Doug Honnold with Earthjustice, who had argued the case before Molloy on behalf of 12 environmental groups. In his ruling, Molloy said the federal government had not met its standard for wolf recovery, including interbreeding of wolves between the three states to ensure healthy genetics. "Genetic exchange has not taken place," Molloy wrote in the 40-page decision. Molloy said hunting and state laws allowing the killing of wolves for livestock attacks would likely "eliminate any chance for genetic exchange to occur." The federal biologist who led the wolf restoration program, Ed Bangs, defended the decision to delist wolves as "a very biologically sound package." "The kind of hunting proposed by the states wouldn't threaten the wolf population," Bangs said Friday. "We felt the science was rock solid and that the delisting was warranted."Bangs said government attorneys were reviewing Molloy's court order and would decide next week whether to appeal to the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. Federal and state officials had argued killing some wolves would not endanger the overall population - as long as numbers did not dip below 300 wolves. With increasing conflicts between wolves and livestock, they said public hunts were crucial to keeping the predators' population in check.
