After speaking with Hillary Clinton on Sunday and again today, Barack Obama told top donors on a conference call today to help his primary rival retire her campaign debt, the campaign confirms.
Clinton will introduce Obama to some of her big fundraisers in Washington on Thursday at the Mayflower Hotel, and will appear in public with the nominee in Unity, NH on Friday.
UPDATE: Obama flipped again and stated Wednesday that he thought it unfair to ask his donors to help bail out Hillary. Guess her big fundraisers were not to his liking.
Can we trust anything this man says or promises?? Is this the change he is always talking about?
6/27 Now Obama has given Hillary $2300 to settle her debt.
This has taken to many twists and turns I am closing the question.

As a community organizer Obama, helped register thousands of voters.
But when it came time to run for office, he employed Chicago rules to invalidate the voting petition signatures of three of his challengers.
In his first race for office, seeking a state Senate seat on Chicago's gritty South Side in 1996, Obama effectively used election rules to eliminate his Democratic competition.
As a community organizer, he had helped register thousands of voters. But when it came time to run for office, he employed Chicago rules to invalidate the voting petition signatures of three of his challengers.
Obama's past battles See how Barack Obama has used election rules to his advantage during his political career
The move denied each of them, including incumbent Alice Palmer, a longtime Chicago activist, a place on the ballot. It cleared the way for Obama to run unopposed on the Democratic ticket in a heavily Democrat district.
"That was Chicago politics," said John Kass, a veteran Chicago Tribune columnist. "Knock out your opposition, challenge their petitions, destroy your enemy, right?
It is how Barack Obama destroyed his enemies back in 1996 that conflicts with his message today. He may have gotten his start registering thousands of voters. But in that first race, he made sure voters had just one choice."
Watch how Obama shut out challengers in his first race »
Obama's challenge was perfectly legal, said Jay Stewart of the Chicago's Better Government Association. Although records of the challenges are no longer on file for review with the election board, Stewart said Obama is not the only politician to resort to petition challenges to eliminate the competition.
"He came from Chicago politics," Stewart said. "Politics ain't beanbag, as they say in Chicago. You play with your elbows up, and you're pretty tough and ruthless when you have to be. Sen. Obama felt that's what was necessary at the time, that's what he did.

All it takes is one gaffe to taint a Republican for life. The political establishment never let Dan Quayle live Down his fateful misspelling of “potatoe.”
But what about Barack Obama?
The guy’s a perpetual gaffe machine. Let us count the ways, large and small, that his tongue has betrayed him throughout the campaign:
1. • Last May, he claimed that tornadoes in Kansas killed a whopping 10,000 people:
“In case you missed it, This week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died—an entire town destroyed.”
The actual death toll: 12.
2. • Earlier this month in Oregon, he redrew the map
of the United States: “Over the last 15 months, we’ve
Traveled to every corner of the United States. I’ve now
Been in 57 states? I think one left to go.”
3 • Last week, in front of a roaring Sioux Falls, S.D., audience, Obama exulted: “Thank you, Sioux City. ... I Said it wrong. I’ve been in Iowa for too long. I’m sorry”
4 • Explaining last week why he Was trailing Hillary Clinton in Kentucky, Obama again botched basic Geography:
“Sen. Clinton, I think, is much better known, coming from a nearby state of Arkansas. So it’s not surprising that she would have an advantage in some of those states in the middle.”
On what map is Arkansas closer to Kentucky than Illinois?
5. • Obama has as much trouble with numbers as he does with maps. Last March, on the anniversary of the Bloody Sunday march in Selma, Ala., he claimed his parents united as a direct result of the civil rights movement:
“There was something stirring across the country because of what happened folks are willing to march across a bridge. So they got together and Barack Obama Jr. was born.”
Obama was born in 1961.The Selma march took place
in 1965. His spokesman, Bill Burton, later explained that
Obama was “speaking metaphorically about the civil rights movement as a whole.”
6 • Earlier this month in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Obama showed off his knowledge of the war in Afghanistan by homing in on a lack of translators:
“We only have a certain number of them, and if they are all in Iraq, then it’s harder for us to use them in Afghanistan.”
The real reasons it’s “harder for us to use them” in Afghanistan:
Iraqis speak Arabic or Kurdish.
The Afghanis speak Pashto, Fasi or other non-Arabic languages.
7. • Over the weekend in Oregon, Obama pleaded ignorance of the decades-old, multi-billion-dollar massive Hanford nuclear waste cleanup:
“Here’s something that you will rarely hear from a politician, and that is that I’m not familiar with the Hanford, uuuuhh, site, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on there. (Applause.) Now, having said that, I promise you I’ll learn about it by the time I leave here on the ride back to the airport.”
I assume on that ride, a staffer reminded him that He’s voted on at least one defense authorization bill that addressed the “costs, schedules, and technical issues” dealing with the nation’s most contaminated nuclear waste site.
8.Last March, the Chicago Tribune reported this little-noticed nugget about a fake autobiographical detail in Obama’s “Dreams from My Father”:
“Then, there’s the copy of Life magazine that Obama
presents as his racial awakening at age 9. In it, he wrote, was an article and two accompanying photographs of an African-American man physically and mentally scarred by his efforts to lighten his skin. In fact, the Life article and the photographs don’t exist, say the magazine’s own historians.”
9.• perhaps the most seriously troubling set of gaffes of them all, Obama told a Portland crowd over the weekend that Iran doesn’t “pose a serious threat to us” — cluelessly arguing that “tiny countries” with
small defense budgets can’t do us harm —
------------and then promptly flip-flopped the next day, claiming,
“I’ve made it clear for years that the threat from Iran is grave.”
Which one is it Obama?
10. “ On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.”
(Obama’s seeing dead people, and folks are worried about McCain developing Alzheimer's?)
Continuing with his speech…..
Democrat Barack Obama went on to say his (non-existent Uncle his Mother was only child) uncle helped liberate the Nazis' Auschwitz concentration camp telling of his personal experience of a soldier in his family who served heroically.
The Republican National Committee quickly pointed out that the Red Army (armed force of the former Soviet Union) had liberated Auschwitz in 1945, not American forces. Obama had made the Auschwitz reference in a Memorial Day speech on May 26th, 2008,
Barack Obama — the love affair continues promoted by the Left and the media's love child as an all-knowing, articulate, transcendent Messiah
He Is in reality a walking, talking gaffe machine.
How many more passes does he get?
They say this man is an eloquent, intelligent speaker. So far I have only heard a halting, nonsensical, un-intelligent man who makes as many gaffes as Bush has

Does anyone remember years ago Delegates getting up with signs and marching around the Convention Hall?
Meetings in back smoke filled rooms making deals on who would be best for the Party. On who could win.
Not this cut and dried pandering to the candidate who can raise the most money, where the voters know who the nominee will be before the Convention. And know it is not who the voters choose.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) ― In this tight battle for the Democratic nomination we've heard a lot about the candidates courting superdelegates.
But, one superdelegate is courting the candidates. He says he'll sell his vote for a price. A very high price: $20 million.
Steven Ybarra of Sacramento says that eight-figure price is peanuts for the presidency.
http://www.cbs13.com/video/?id=33250@kovr.dayport.comRaw Video Of Interview: Part 1
Raw Video Of Interview: Part 2
http://www.cbs13.com/video/?id=33252@kovr.dayport.comRaw Video Of Interview: Part 3
When asked whether it was right to offer what is clearly a quid pro quo, he responded, "yeah, absolutely. People do it all the time," answered Ybarra.
But not like this. Not in public and not for such big bucks. It begs the question: Is he crazy?
"Nobody's said I'm crazy," said Ybarra.
Ybarra wants every cent of the $20 million to go towards registering and educating eligible Mexican-American voters, who he calls the key to the White House.
"And I keep asking the question of the DNC: 'why won't you earmark money for these voters?' And their answer is, 'oh, we can't do that' Which is a lie," said Ybarra.
With the Democratic National Committee saying 'no,' Ybarra waits for a 'yes' from already cash-strapped Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
Would he accept less? How about $5 million?
"No, $5 million is nothing," said Ybarra.
It might be a moot point as neither campaign has come calling.
"No, I think most people right now are looking at this as some crazy guy in California because after all I'm from California," said Ybarra.
He thinks his own party is crazy for not aggressively pursuing the Mexican-American vote especially with such a large Mexican-American population in the southwest.
"We should kick John McCain's a** in his own hometown," said Ybarra.
This superdelegate thinks his vote would be the best $20 million a candidate could ever spend. After all, he says, in 2004 John Kerry spent $1 billion to lose.
