Ok, We know wall street and our banks need to be held accountable for this credit crisis. Real Estate agents (in my opinion) are not getting their share of the blame either. But what troubles me is what I am hearing in in the news of folks who are walking away from their mortgage obliglations even though their income is stable and their payment/rates have not increased. People walking away just because the current value of the property has dropped.

I have heard all over the media that the oil companies are gouging. Now I an all for free enterprise, but I also see myself as cost conscious (My wife says cheap). Thus I have begun to explore ways to cut our energy bill. My results were quite a shock. Solar Energy for the house $15,000 - 20,000! Geo-Thermal temp control $17,000! A wood pellet stove $6,000!

Who are the real price gougers? They advertise a 7 year payoff? In business a proposal will not even be looked at unless it has a ROI of 24 mos or less!
