Generally speaking, those who can play music &quot;by ear&quot; were born with the ability, or acquired the skill at a young age. Also to think about, which one is harder to attain? Which would you rather have? Can either of them come natural to some people, and can one of the two abilities seem impossible to do from the other&#39;s point of view?
