The wide array of hats and headwear were highlighted at the 2008 Republican National Convention (RNC). The headdresses ranged far and wide... to those who even went beyond just the hat.
So tell me, who was the most decorated convention goer at the 2008 RNC?

Google has come out with its own new browser called Chrome, which looks similar to Mozilla's Firefox in some ways. The new browser, like any other software you install, makes you accept their license agreements before you can proceed with the download... however, how many of us actually read the dang thing?? I'm betting not many.
Here is a blurb from Google's Chrome Browser License Agreement: "By submitting, posting or displaying the content, you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content that you submit, post or display on or through the Services."

Sarah Palin has been chosen as John McCain's VP choice and running mate. The 44-year old conservative who has been the governor of Alaska since 2006, also considers herself a hockey mom and has competed in the Miss Alaska beauty pageants. The McCain Palin ticket has weight as Palin marks the Republican's first female candidate for Vice President. She's a hottie with attitude, a plan, and determination.
So, do we want Sarah Palin as Vice President? Will the governor of Alaska help change your mind about John McCain?

Jennifer Hudson has been asked to sing the National Anthem (Star Spangled Banner) at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, August 28th, 2008. Hudson claims to be a huge Barack Obama supporter and was ecstatic to sing when she was asked to do so. Hudson says that she will be supporting Obama in this 2008 Presidential election.

I saw a poll done about how they have put up a net on the outside of the Golden Gate bridge to catch people trying to commit suicide... evidently it's the number 1 spot to jump. If someone attempts to commit suicide, and fail, most states demand they be taken by state officials usually institutionalized. Now the state is responsible for them, because they are a danger to themselves... obviously.
Does anyone else think that this is against constitutional freedom? Since when does the government have the right to control whether you want to live or die?

At the Arlington National Cemetery lies the giant marble sarcophagus known as The Tomb of the Unknowns. The tomb is a memorial for unknown U.S. service members spanning from World War 1 to the Vietnam War. Open to the public since 1932, the tomb of the unknown soldiers is showing a lot of wear and tear over the last 76 years with cracks in many places.
Officials are worried that as the cracks spread, the degradation of the monument will take away from the dignity and respect the Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers deserves; it is considered one of the most sacred sites. More than 4 million people visit the Tomb of the Unknowns every year, making it a very popular destination in Washington.

Both the former president of the United States, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama's former opponent, Hillary Clinton, are set to speak at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. The 2008 Democratic National Convention will be held in Denver, Colorado to represent Barack Obama and his newly named running mate, Joe Biden. The first night of the Democratic National Convention Schedule will consist of big names and big speeches. A nine year old Virginian, Angela Morgan, will lead the Pledge of Allegiance. John Legend will be giving a musical performance, and former president of the United States, Jimmy Carter will give a video taped address. There are rumors that Kennedy will also appear in person at the democratic convention, but no one is certain due to his battle with brain cancer. Barack Obama and Joe Biden, or what I call the O'Biden ticket, is the main focus of the DNC, hoping that the convention isn't going to be too divided.

The Democratic Vice President must be decided by Barack Obama... but he seems to keep changing his mind; At least that is what the media keeps telling us. In mid August 2008, reports showed that Obama was going to be choosing between Joe Biden, Tom Kaine or Evan Bayh... but now there is talk that democratic Chet Edwards might be Obama's choice for VP. Is this the media, and/or Obama just trying to stir up attention? Or is Obama really that indecisive about who he wants in office with him?
