Hey Mags thanks for the note. Thank God I am over the cough! It was getting me down. My son started school this week. So far so good. Hope you get to the beach. I think I am taking the kids to Zion National park over the weekend. Stay cool

Meg it was wonderful I Saluted him as he was coming down the stairs
& held it till he acknowleged it & Saluted back you may have seen his
lips moving as they were.There was no sound cuz they had the media
on a flat bed truck about 200 ft in back of us for security purposes it
was pretty elaborate all the things the secret service do in preparation
anyway what he was saying to his friend was look hes Saluting me &
then when he got to the bottom of the stairs he shook my hand'thanked
me for my service & thanked me for being there as well at which point
I told him I was very honored & wouldn't miss this for the world & that
we were all very proud of the sacfifices he made for this great country
we know as America.It was truly special.I will remember this day 4evr.
