Otherwise I usually go to a smaller Christian bike meet in Sweden every summer. I do play the blues there as well but it's much more relaxed.
This is the fastest bike I've ridden, the Ducati 1098.

posted Apr 07, 2008 12:00AM GMTNo problem at all, I've had to deal with weekend classes so my situation was pretty hectic as well. I hope you had a nice weekend =)
Yes, the rallies are equivalent as meets. I've heard many good things about them and I'm glad you had the chance to participate and have fun. Thanks for sharing the photo, were you part of the performance? -
posted Apr 04, 2008 07:24PM GMT (edited)Hey, friend! Sorry about the delay. I'm not sure if a bike rally is the same thing as a meet. I've been to a few of those. The biggest one was in Skagen, Denmark. 13 000 crazy bikers gathered with floods of beer, rock music and strip shows. I was there a couple of times playing with the band, Sky Blues Band from Minnesota. Here's a pic of us in '06. To bad my head is behind the PA speaker, click to enlarge it.

I see.. It's a good thing to deal with your grief, we tend to suppress them a lot and they end up manifesting in the most unexpected manner. I hope that you're able to cope well, remember.. one at a time, okay? Good luck!
Very nice bike, Kawasaki has some sweet rides. You must have had a lot of fun on it. I agree, choppers are relaxing to ride as compared to the others. Have you ever gone on a bike rally? A lot of people here ride from all over the country for days just to participate in them. -
posted Apr 03, 2008 06:05AM GMTI'm glad you're healed. You're very beautiful. I used to ride bikes leaning forward, but I get more relaxed, and thus drive safer, when I'm laid back on my chopper (although I have made wheelies, hrm)
I'm sad but that's how it should be, I'm taking a course in grief recovery and that stirs up old and new grief I need to deal with. It's okay, thanks for caring.
I had one of these before I got my current bike, a Kawasaki Gpz 900:

posted Apr 03, 2008 12:48AM GMTYes, I've healed completely. That incident happened when I was 15. Thanks for your concern, and keep in mind to not try doing tricks on your bike =D
Those pictures were taken for a band's cover shots. They wanted a horror theme, hence the blood and gore.
As for my dogs, the orange one is Rickles and the black/tan one is Axis. Both are under 15lbs or approximately 7 kgs.
That's another nice bike. Thanks!
Here's one for you to check out, it's one of my favorite models as well.

Oh, no. I didn't mean that I'd wanted to get a Virago but rather that I thought the model was nice. Also, they're not as common as Harleys, so occasional spotting one makes me smile.
No cars involved, it was entirely my fault. I tried to do a jump but landed too far off the front tire and I flipped off to the ground. My bike then came crashing down on me, with the brake handle jammed into my left shin.
It took a bunch of people holding me down plus a crane to lift the bike off. Haha, needless to say, I've not been on a bike since then.
In any case I do, the Yamaha would be my pick. You got the right picture, it's a beaut! Thanks! -
posted Apr 02, 2008 08:03AM GMTLet me know if you're coming and I'll give you a tour in my Lotus or on my bike, your choice... (or perhaps both, why limits?)
The Virago has a nice, almost legendary motor. I'm not too fond of the looks though but that's such a personal thing I'd say, if you like it, go for it.
I'm sorry about your accident, did you hurt yourself badly? Cars involved? I had my first down in 25 years last summer, hurt my foot and broke my pinky avoiding a car.
You mean this one? It's yours, lol!!!

posted Apr 02, 2008 07:37AM GMTSounds like an ideal place to be. Big enough but small enough. I'm adding it to my "Places to Visit" list. Thanks!
Makes sense about your bike. Most choppers are 1500CC and up although they are much heavier compared to your bike. I've seen the Virago a few times and thought that the model is pretty nice. What do you think?
Thanks, I had a LOT of fun with my bike =)
Then came an accident and I stopped riding since then. I've always wanted to get a Yamaha YZ 250. It's a gorgeous bike! -
posted Apr 02, 2008 07:32AM GMTYou're very welcome. Gothenburg is the second biggest city in Sweden after Stockholm, the capital.
It's big enough to have everything but small enough to be nice, if that makes any sence. What about your place?
My bike is 1400 cc's and as if that wasn't enough I've had the shop crank another 10-15 horsepower out of it, that is sweet. It's very lightweight compared to most other big engined motorcycles, like Harley, so I'm faster than most.
KTM is probably the best dirtbike there is, I bet you had a lot of fun with that. I once had a Husqvarna 125 dirtbike but it got stolen, no insurance :'-(
Have a beautiful Wednesday, or rather, Good Night, I guess. LOL!!! -
posted Apr 02, 2008 07:02AM GMTVery nice pictures, thank you for posting them up to share!
From them, it seems like Gothenburg is big on culture and arts. Must be a very nice place to live =)
Your bike is sweet! How many CCs on that monster? I'm a fan of dirt bikes myself, used to have a KTM 95 250 CC -
