We haven't been following all the rules either, but we do need to get used to some sort of format. We have made up stuff and I have been loving it. Magic rings rock!

No where. It is fun. We are still getting into the groove of it. My husband is used to the old rules so we have had to adjust quite a bit LOL but we incorporate all of it into the game so it has been fun.

It is kind of funny that games like Fantasy Football are based off of D&D.; Many people love to play that but would never dream of playing D&D;.

LOL Yeah, the no shower thing can be gross, but thankfully for me if I am not doing anything I don't sweat so I don't need to shower everyday. Yay for me. I wouldn't mind filling up the tub and just relaxing. That would be nice.
Being the DM does take a lot of work. That is my husband's job and I know he spends hours figuring stuff out to make it cool for us.

It does take up a lot of time to play that is for sure. Some weekends I just don't want to bother with it. I want a weekend where I can just sit home in my undwear, not shower, eating pizza and not do a damn thing.

We have done a few fun things. We went to the Freedom Festival in Sturgis, SD and camping a few times. A bear came into our camp! That was exciting. We had a pirate themed campout birthday party for my husband and that was fun. Had a treasure hunt for the kids and it was blast. We burried treasure and we created a map and had them look for it. Tons of fun. Other than that all I have been doing is working and playing D&D
