About Me
Ah'm a grouchy old coot. Ask my wife. Have one child (son) who is in college in South Carolina. We live in the sticks in the Widewater area of Stafford, Virginia, right near the
Quantico Marine Corps Base. We're only a mile or so from the Marine Air Station,
and LOVE to listen to the sound of freedom when the F18's and C17's take off.

Activities:
Play guitar...well, sometimes. I have a modified (saddle mounted pick-up) acoustic Epiphone 12-string that I play through a Fender Princeton Stereo Chorus amp. I last played at a friends funeral a few years ago . Been playing on/off since 1971. Try to keep my grass green. Chase my dog (more like limp after) around the neighborhood. Vacation at our time share in Myrtle beach.
Interests:
I brew my own beer, and love to grill and smoke meat and fish (got a 22" Weber kettle grille, a New Braunfels horizontal smoker and an upright Brinkman water smoker, all heavily modified fer thet thar low and slow fall off the bone/cut with a fork goodness). I also read heavily, enjoy good single malt scotch and a gin and tonic (or 3) when I get home from work.

Anything by Billy Strange ( gitfiddler. Performed with Elvis, Jan & Dean, Beach boys, etc (http://www.billystrangemusic). Also produced an album that portrayed his skill playing the 12 string guitar.
