I’m happily married. I’ve lived and traveled throughout the U.S. In addition I lived in Scotland for almost 2 yrs and traveled down to England, to Norway, The Netherlands and Japan.

I used to do Sacramento regularly. As I'm sure that you noted, it's popular with the cavalry. I haven't been there for several years, though.

We did Lost River in 2006 and 2007, but canceled at the very last moment this year. While it's a small event, it's certainly unique with the cave and river combination and the big meal in the mouth of the cave. That event is only about 20 miles from where I grew up, so it's a chance for me to visit down there.

I've done Perryville quite a few times. It's generally a good event, though the current event organizers leave some to be desired and thus attendance is way, way down the past few years. Those things pass, though.

I am sorry to hear about Princess Snowball. One of my cats, Foxy-chan, recently passed. So I know the feeling, but I like to think that her spirit has returned to nature. Princess looked like a beautiful cat.

So sorry about Princess Snowball. We nearly lost our little baby Madeline last month to heart disease. She lives on borrowed time every day ... like the rest of us, I suppose.

I'm sad to report that Princess Snowball passed over to the "Rainbow Bridge" on May 15th. She contracted a very fatal disease in cats for which there is no cure or vaccination. It's common in bobcats, who are unaffected by it, but highly fatal to domestic cats. It took her quickly and we don't think she suffered much. We were fortunate to have a wonderful vet who had a 'rescue' kitten that she held for us til we were ready to bring the 'Fuzball' home. I'll post pictures of this wee terror later.
