  • Yeah... my friend had brought his brother over from Yemen to give him a chance at better life. Instead, some lowlife bastards murdered him. My friend blames himself and is totally crushed. He is such a good man and really cares about people. Anyhow, my house was on Charles St downtown, across from Henderson Jr High. I can't believe that it's been over 7 years since it burned down and I moved back up here.

  • I liked living in Henderson. I REALLY liked my house. You are right about the cost of living there... much better than Raleigh. Do you live anywhere near Williamsboro Grocery? It was a little country store near the lake. A friend of mine's brother was shot and killed there a few weeks ago. Really tragic thing to happen... only 31 years old.

  • Moved to Raleigh in 1994 and then to Henderson in 95. Had a big old Victorian house, but it burned down in 2001 so I ended up moving back to Maryland. Now, the question is why are YOU still in Henderson!?? Lol!

  • I've been cleaning alot too~ Especially the last week- I did the whole office and my daughter's bedroom and my husband just left to take it all to goodwill : )
    Oh I hate that dust.....I sneeze like crazy!
    Did you get anymore advice in your poll about your prob? I forwarded it to my friends list I think....pretty sure I did. I was hoping you'd get some good advice here 'cause I know that alot of people here do sodahead while at work! LOL
