posted Feb 28, 2008 12:31AM GMT (edited)I agee with you on most counts! What is interesting to note is that yesterday Barack Obama (in the debate) said that he would be willing to RE INVADE Iraq if it was good for the "interests" of the United States. What this clearly means is that his "strategy" is to get out because it is the "popular" thing to do, but would return if it got bad (like every expert says would happen unless the job is finished right). McCain, on the other hand, had the right strategy when it was not popular and he has said before that the most important thing is to leave and decrease casualties.
Ironically, the only difference regarding the war between Obama and McCain is that McCain wants to stay there until there is a semblance of "success", Obama wants to leave... to then come right back if shit goes haywire.. That is not a strategy, that is dangerously naive.
Unfortunately, the Kool-Aide seems to have worked against both Bill and Hillary Clinton... too bad....
glad to have you as a "sodahead"! -

We are in a higher tax bracket, but we are losing money in the stock and housing markets. I have met McCain twice. He is truly a nice guy, but I think the war is costing us too much. I find myself watching more of Glenn Beck and Fox news since the media bias has escalated. I hate Chris Mathews and the rest of the kool-aid drinkers. I love me some Bill Clinton. You?
