About Me
I'm a Montanan transplanted in Washington...I moved around a lot as a kid so it was no big deal. I've been here now for 25 years. I have a wonderful wife of 30 years and two great sons. I have two grandchildren now (that still sounds wierd to me) that are just the greatest. I've been an IBEW lineman for 35 years.
I'd like to meet:
People...I mean, just anyone willing to share a view, a story, an opinion or teach me something new. This is a big part of why I do things like this. There are a lot of interesting people out there.
Activities:
The older I get the smaller the list of activities. I still love to cycle and always will. I keep an open schedule in case something new and exciting comes up. I love going to concerts and ball games. If my boys need help with something...I'm there. Heck, anymore I consider getting out of bed in the morning an activity...LOL
Interests:
WOW...That's a long list. I think a person should constantly be learning new things, that way your brain stays active. So here are a few of the things I like and have done. I like and have played most major sports, I'm a cyclist forever, I love NASCAR and home town, grassroots racing, I umpired HS baseball for 10 years, I love working on my house and yard. The thing that has stayed with me the longest is my love of music.
Favorite Music:
There isn't much music that I won't at least listen to once. I'm not big on Rap or Hip Hop, and country wouldn't make the top of the list even though that's all I had to listen to until I could afford to buy my own. A rocker at heart. I was raised in the 70's so that will always have a special place in my heart. I went to school with Jeff Ament (he was in my youngest brothers class) of Pearl Jam, so of course, they are a favorite. Besides the fact they have great music.

Favorite TV Shows:
I gotta admit it...I love American Idol. It's the music thing you know. I also like Dancing With The Stars. I have as varied of a taste in TV as I do in music.
Favorite Movies:
A River Runs Through It...the Montana boy in me. After that...well just about anything. I'm not to big on the horror flicks. I guess I must be a chicken shit of sorts.
Favorite Books:
Here's where I lack a lot. I don't read much. I have a couple of books on CD and my wife reads books aloud while we travel. The last book was Marley and Me...you'd love it.

Favorite Heroes:
I suppose this is a common theme, but first my Dad and then my sister. Both have passed and I have learned greatly from both. Then my wife...the strongest person I know.

Thanks for the friend request! Your kitty is beautiful! She really does look like mine! The last Cup race we went to was Sept. 2001. We used to go to the Busch races regularly, but have not been in a few years now. Who is your favorite driver? I like most everybody, as long as they race clean.
