About Me
I was a Peace Corps volunteer in the South Pacific, have travelled to and lived in many points on the globe. Becoming a grandparent was a stunning event that changed my life and lifestyle forever. Now I love being at home, but home is anywhere I happen to be.

I'd like to meet:

My direct ancestors going back 500 or 1000 years. Would be interesting to interview them, see how they lived, what things were important to them, how they viewed the world and how it all changed over the centuries. I always want to meet people who are aware, enlightened, focused, relaxed, have a sense of humor. Prefer the company of regular folks rather than hard driving type A's.

Activities:

Gym workouts, international travel, cross country road trips, movies, cooking, pitching into help people, being with friends.

Interests:

What's happening with our country, the people, and the world.

Favorite Music:

Smooth jazz, classical, oldies.

Favorite TV Shows:

The O'Reilly Factor, TCM movie channel, Sunday Night Live, History Channel.

Favorite Movies:

Return of the Mummy (2001 version), School of Rock, Fargo, Casablanca, Behind Enemy Lines, We Were Soldiers, Some Like It Hot, The Time Machine (original version), Mutiny On The Bounty (1963 version), The Gladiator, Big Momma's House, Ben Hur, True Lies, anything Clint Eastwod and Harrison Ford.

Favorite Books:

Adventure fiction, non-fiction best sellers, travel books. Anything Clive Cussler.

Favorite Quotes:

  • Thanks for your very nice comment on my guitar/drum playing of Black Magic Woman. Actually, it is full of mistakes on both guitar and drums...but I posted on a lark on my youtube page anyway. To my total surprise, it has gotten lots of five star ratings and some very nice, encouraging comments. So, what the heck, I posted it on my profile too.

    Actually, I don't have that album (Shaman), but I'll definitely have to check it out.
