Was a single parent for many years, youngest was 4, oldest 12 when I became a bachelor for the second time. Navy brat that spent 6 years in the Navy. Was in country to witness the take over of Marcos in the Philippines and the return of our POWs after NAM when they were processed through Clark Air Force Base. While I was in the military I was sent to and advanced elctronics school in San Diego had a Marine Recon and a ROC (Korean) navy ensisted type as roommates at the same time. I currently own my own business, industrial consumables sales.

Currently reading Wilbur Smith's books. Great reading. Also read Terry Goodkind and Harry Turtledove. Always looking for more books on Queen Victoria's Little wars. Conflicts of the British Colonial period are great reading. Boer Wars of South Africa are interesting both from their political and warfare aspects.
