I am a human, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I believe in personal accountability, and social empathy. I have very strong opinions on matters that I feel tear at the American cultural fabric. I do not believe in separatism, divisiveness or socio-economic excuses for appalling behavior. I believe that manners and small acts of kindness go much farther than any government implemented program. I believe people will fulfill the standards that are set for them, good, bad or indifferent. I believe that we as Americans are mostly caring, kind, intelligent people who are now scared to stand up for what we believe because of the bastardization of political correctness. I believe that when under pressure, or if we see our neighbors in need, we will not only step up, but jump in, and stand at their sides until the end- no matter their ethnicity, race, color or creed. I have been exposed to more than my share of separatism, and every reason in the world why we are different. I believe the real race issues are human race issues, and should be dealt with as such. I believe we are braver, wiser, better, and stronger than we allow ourselves to be. I believe that change can start with one person, in one second of time, and that one person, without realizing it, can change the world. I pray that we all change it for the better.
