yeah it was pretty gross...they were everywhere and didn't cling to the walls very well so they would fall on you, your bed, into your food, or water......I spent as little time as possible in my room during that time.

Ewww, pineapple bugs?

look better than the barracks I had in Hawaii...we had a crazy infestation of "pineapple" bugs. I guess the maitanence guys put infected filters into our rooms...I was on shift the entire time I was there and the day I had mids 1930-0330, pt was after work so I got to bed about six was the day they decided to spray so everyone had to be out of the barracks at 0900 til 1400....I was a little upset. Couldn't find a pic of my old barracks so here is the TMC lol worst parking lot ever, I think there was only room for about 30 cars

Wouldn't surprise me a lot has changed since those days, I wonder if the building and barracks in the picture even exist anymore. The barracks on the right was my home for over a year.

haha, I think the only people stationed on kelly now are the medical people, everyone else seems to be on lackland

LOL, I was there before you were born, back in the 60's before I went ot Vietnam. Stationed at USAF Security Service HQ, just off Soutwest Military Drive on the hill.
