About Me
I'm an old guy..but wise beyond my years..healthy, got all my own teeth, wear a toupee however...just to please the ladies..kinda why they wear make up I guess. I belong to about every fraternal organization in the country, starting with George Washington's lodge the Masonic lodge. All are dedicated to either widows, and orphans, or to the health and well being of young people. It also supports the country they live in. Masons, Scotish Rite, Shriners..all support public education for everyone.
I'd like to meet:
Barack Obama and his family, and invite them to a home cooked meal at my house...I also cook, and a pretty dam good one too
Activities:
Investing, real estate, stock market..that type shit
Interests:
I am an artist, a cartoonist, a characturist, also I read a lot...not fiction anymore, I find real life more fascinating , I like dancing, drinking ,singing, making loud noise..in other words, I love life., but I try not to be a pain in the ass about it.
Favorite Music:
Old classic stuff or 1940's boogie, and swing music..in my estimation, Elvis and the Beatles ruined music and my enjoyment of it.

I channel surf a lot.can't find anything outside of boxing and football that interests me

Lonsome Dove...Duvall is my all time favorite actor, some say I look like him, with out my toup, bow legged and that kinda stuff with deep set eyes

Well it's countdown to election, and i'm going to go on record with my predictions...It's Obama for President,2008, not by a landslide, but with an encouraging mandate for change. In 2012 it will be a landslide re-election for Barack, after we get to see how his promises have improved our lives, and we are finally convinced the scare tactics McCain /Palen was using were a bogus attempt at stealing an election.
I also predict, some of you FOX pundits with egg on your faces, will fail to exhibit shame for your over the top resistance to joining the American people in entering into the historic moment of electing a good and decent man, with a loving family...to the highest office we have to offer in America.
Barack Obama....the name doesn't sound so strange now does it?
And who can remember.... who was John's running mate back in the day.

Billie, and Sean,and karl, and Frank, and Brit, and Charles,and Greta, and all the other bobble heads on FNC all are in the tank for Sarah the baracuda, and her sidekick, John the hero McCain. To be honest, MSNBC is in the tank for Obama momma, and Joe bad boy Bidin. However if I want balance on their political coverage, I have to switch channels back and forth....you know what..I still haven't changed my mind, in fact I voted yesterday, my wife and I, for that soon to be great American patriot,,,President, Brack Obama.
That's right, in Oregon you can vote by mail..it's great. Why don't you try it in your State, and vote early.

Here's what I am pissed about; Banks who wont loan money.
A bank is only in business to take in deposits and loan them out at interest. If not, why are they in business. Now,the sub prime lending caused them to pull in their horns due to their loss experience...OK, but the pime lending they did to people with great credit reports will produce more loss to them when they Kick in their ARMS, and people try to get new equity loans or negotiate new loans, can not. One because the banks will not loan period, and Two; due to the ripple effect of the cataclysmic housing bubble bursting, people now owe more than their home is worth. The home owner can't afford to make payments and the bank can't afford to take them back due to liquidity requirements . The pundants say; " Oh, but 79% of the people are making their mortgage payments" That's right Jack...now but in 90 days, because they either lost their main source of income, or their ARM kicked in...they have a choice ; either walk away, or file for Banko. They can't down size, or take advantage of lower housing prices, they can't sell their home to get their equity out. There is no equity left, and even if there was a buyer, no one will loan the buyer money to buy the vast amount of unsold inventory out there...
Folks, Berneke and company, George Bush and Dick Cheney will have to answer for this debacal. They wanted to kill inflation that was lowering our dollar and costing us more at the oil pump. Know what ? they succeeded in killing inflation and the housing market, and the ripple effect has become world wide.
The rest of the world is calling it a depression...we still parse words by calling it a correction, or recession, or even a deep recession. It's a depression Jack. If you don't feel it yet you will by the end of the fourth quarter, when the ripple hits your home, you'll think it's a tidal wave.
