One of the Bowden's maybe (Tommy or Terry), both WV boys from the seventies. I just don't understand. Michigan was awful last year, they are losing all of thier great players and if you go to a big program like that and don't get immediate results, they'll fire your ass. This was a huge mistake. He was WV raised boy, played ball for WV, and he claimed his dream job was to coach WV. Now this? It's ludacris... -
posted Dec 17, 2007 11:01PM GMTWow...when it rains it pours I guess. Now I wonder who West V will be scouting for a replacement?
And God I hope I don't hear anymore talk of Carroll leaving. For the past few years, after every bowl game, they start talking about NFL offers. -

posted Dec 02, 2007 10:00AM GMTAll I have to say is I know the feeling. For example...last year exactly this time.....#2 ranked usc lost 13-9. A familiar score. It was the same thing...gut wrenching plays that just made for bad football.

posted Nov 25, 2007 04:00PM GMTThanks Buddy, I like all of our fans appreciate your support on the West Coast. I don't see USC getting into the National Championship game, but I would love to see it, and you're right, OSU doesn't deserve to make it to the game, they haven't played anyone this season, Wisconsin, Michigan, MSU and Iowa are all terrible this year and honestly if we played OSU in the NC, it would be a repeat of last season, OSU would get mauled. Mizzou would be a different story, that wold be a good game with both solid offenses and quarterbacks...

posted Nov 25, 2007 07:22AM GMTWhat a weekend! You sold me with that win against Uconn... I just can't believe; LSU, Kansas, Oregon, ASU all drop in one weekend.
Question is, who else is gunna play in the NC? Missouri is gunna have a tough game against Oklahoma. If they lose, its likely OSU will go. I really hope Missouri goes because OSU isn't worthy of a trip to the championship. OSU is better suited for going to the rose bowl and matching their skills against SC's hard hitting defense.
Well, just a tiny rivalry game for SC next week. I will be rooting for West V! -
posted Nov 25, 2007 06:19AM GMTHow about them 'eers son? As long as we can beat Pitt next week, WVU will play for the National Title, you've had your turn, we're gonna take it home this year. I'll still root for USC to get into the Rose Bowl...

posted Nov 13, 2007 04:56PM GMTI love to see our teams meet up in a bowl game. I still think the chances are fairly slim, but we shall see. And as far as Oregon goes, I wouldn't guess any team to get a bid right now for the NC. The way this season has gone, it's anybody's ball game...

posted Nov 12, 2007 11:20PM GMTHey, its looking more and more possible that SC could meet up with West V in a bowl game. I was so psyched to see OSU go down this weekend. If Oregon goes to the NC, I am hoping SC gets a bid for the Rose Bowl.

Or as Lou Holtz would say "yeaghhhhh GO NOTURR DAMMMEEE"
If at the beginning of the season someone would have told me that by week 9 Boston College would be second in the BCS and ASU would be number 1 in the pac 10, I would have laughed and told them to get a CAT scan.
Well, thats what I love about college football, unpredictable and crazy. -
posted Oct 30, 2007 12:24AM GMTThat's right, I'm not a huge fan of Lou Holthhsszz, but he's right, it's a different team every week. Our defense did get alot better this year, and I think we would have the edge against a good SC team, but I would kill to see that game.

posted Oct 29, 2007 10:05PM GMTI dunno man, it would be a good game if SC was healthy and together. Last year, I think SC would have beat West V. This year, prob not. I think WV came back a lot strong this year. I thought the Rutgers game would have been a lot closer but the Scarlet Knights got their butts handed to.
It all depends on what USC team decides to play on Saturdays. Is it the SC team with a healthy dominant O line that can go 85 yards in 4 or 5 plays? Or is it SC team which has 8 penalties against them and can't make anything happen. -
posted Oct 29, 2007 09:46PM GMTThanks for adding me. Question, WVU vs. USC, who'd be the victor? Haha, I think it's a toss up this season...
