so far batman the dark night, iron man, all the star wars (haven't seen them but im getting around to it), 28 days later, 28 weeks later, hot fuzz, and Shawn of the dead. i think that covers it.

i dont have a favorite book but i could recomend them. (probably not im bad at that)
