i think it's terrible to do this to a child, or in general, anyone. Maybe a light tap on the butt with clothes on is acceptable... I was never hit as a child and i would like to think i am a respectful person. I am currently on work expirience and the lady i am with says that i am mature and i know how to speak to adults. so generally saying that spanking is a form of discipline isnt really true.
