Fireworks are illegal here due to fire hazzards & animal keeping laws. My next door neighbor warned me he'd had a few to fire off of the"safe & sane", you know the lilttle stuff. After the 3rd one shot up & bursted over our 2 story roof tops and my horses were hitting the stalls freaking out, I had to regretfully ask that he cease the celebration. He was disapointed but did so immediately. Unfortunately not before another equine neighbor called the fire marshal.....he received a $1000 fine. Bummer, he was pretty cool & warned us he'd had some & quit once it was discovered they were too much for the horses to handle. But, the law is the law & the city is cracking down on everyone.
