I have stayed at Excalibur numerous times. The rooms are simple and clean, the service is great, the location is excellent and during the week you can get a double room for around $60.00 a night. If you don't need all the frills Excalibur is the place to stay. I also like Treasure Island alot. If you are looking to be mainly on the opposite end of the strip from Excalibur. Treasure Island is a bit more upscale, I think they are around $80.00 a night during the week AND try to get a room facing the strip......AWESOME VIEWS in those rooms. My friend just stayed at the new Planet Hollywood and she loved it. Loads of funs stuff to do there but it is a bit more in the $120.00 a night for the cheaper rooms.
