BackRaves

I found it funny in exactly the same way that Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" is both slyly funny and revolutionary.... It points out a lot of the truly subtle and the not so subtle ways our society is still quite racist. I mean you gotta love Dave Chappelle! The line about how "well spoken" the young man is, oh and what a great athlete... Those are textbook examples, right next to "some of my best friends are black," of how folks can say really racist things and kid themselves that they're not doing so. It's why I think you're going to find that some of the people who are most guilty of talking in racist code on SodaHead are going to be the most disturbed by this skit and the most unable to see any humor in it.
