Earth to Toni. Early in the Bush administration, he proposed a full energy plan that including drilling for more oil as well as developing other sources of energy. The "in the econuts pocketbook Democrats" blocked Bush's energy plans then, just as they are now and will continue to do far into the future so long as the econuts keep the Dem's pocketbooks full of campaign cash and voters don't toss them out of Congress. In other words -- Bush was all about change -- the Democrat Congress is all about more of the same useless crap that Carter started in the 1970s.
