Why does the US go through this cycle repeatedly? First America feels sadly about a people that are mass murdered by a government such a communism or dictatorship. We get involved. If war erupts the same socially aware people blames us.?

We want instant results and when we get in there and it is not an easy fix and our boys anf girls are dying and our money is gone for things we need here at home we get over it. We are not seeing the long range though because the media is only focusing on the cost and the mire and not the accomplishments. Sad because we have done some good things and it just is not counting.

I think it is so courageous of you to continue to go when this country needs you when we all know so many take the easy way out and just moan about how bad it is. You fight and put your life on the line for those people to have that right and that is humbling to me when I open my mouth to realize it is because of brave men and women who put their lives on the line that I have that right and keep it. Archie I have unblocked many of those who I blocked but not all. Some of them were so vile I would never want to have anything to do with them in any time in my life. My own life is in a state of chaos right now and to be honest I need all of my friends. But I can not feel in any way happy at Obama's win. I just wish I honestly in my soul thought he could do the job. But time will tell and being the eternal optimist I hope he proves me wrong. In all my life the only politicians who ever proved me wrong was Clinton because in spite of his nuttiness he did a fine job. I hope Obama is capable of doing even half as well and if he can he will be a successful president. None of us wants him to fail. Skepticism abounds. But I will be happy to admit I was wrong if he proves I was wrong.

Obama's stand on not giving medical care to an infant who survives an abortion killed any chance he ever had of obtaining my vote and those of most of our church. Abortion is bad enough, but to not care for a baby is even worse to me and to say it is in the name of confusing the mother's right to choose is just horrendous. They are born alive issued a birth certificate and also a death certificate. This is condoning the most unchristian thing imaginable!
