All of the above & then some.All of the above ONLY to those who haven't the intellectual curiosity to see further into the human condition. Recently, there was an interesting study (small and possibly not sufficiently diverse) on cognitive styles. It discovered that while those who were less fearful tended to be liberal and more inclined towards cooperation, those who were more fearful tended to be conservative and sought to keep the status quo.
