Text Messaging Soon to be Lost to Google Talk?

Text Messaging Soon to be Lost to Google Talk?

    29 24
People will just start using both texting and programs like Google talk.
You always want texting, because when someone is not answering their phone, in a meeting, or on another call, your text message shows up on their screen, and that way you can get your short message to them right away. If not, a lot of people don't listen to their messages right away, and a text message gets them your message right away. Also, sometimes its easier to explain your thought in text than trying to explain it over the phone. It gives your recipient time to think about it before responding. Texting is great, and vital to business and important urgent communications.

Abraham Lincoln vs. Charles Darwin: Who Was More Important?

Abraham Lincoln vs. Charles Darwin: Who Was More Important?

    43 87
    Abe Lincoln
Darwin's theories did more to destroy people's faith in God and Creation. Abe saved our Nation, and look at all the freedom from despots, Hitler, Tojo, Communism, etc. that grew out of a United United States, including the freeing of the slaves. Lincoln was also a fine example of honesty and reliance on God. Darwin's theories do not in fact negate God or Creation. God never said he was making something out of nothing. He organized matter into a world, and there is constant evolution taking place. The mountains are constantly changing, evolving, and species change and adjust to different climate and living conditions. No one can prove that one species changes into another. No one has proven a missing link, or that man came from apes. Many animals species have extraordinary powers and strengths that rival man's, such as the vision and focus afar off of an eagle, or the strength of a bear or gorilla, but what man has is unique to all the animal kingdom, and God created man in his image, as his children, and no scientist can disprove that, including Darwin.

No, this doesn't change my opinion at all. Caffeine is not healthy!
Doctors advise patients all the time to cut or diminish their intake of caffein, or better, cut it out completely. It raises blood pressure, causes a lack of sleep, and jangles the nerves, all not good. Scientist are always changing their minds. Smoking at one time was a favorite pastime of doctors, they were even shown in ads. It was always bad for you! Caffein is addictive and you are better off without it!

Is it okay to have Sex before marriage?

Is it okay to have Sex before marriage?

    2,679 1,883
    no
Sex outside of marriage between a man and a woman is not right, and there are countless reasons. God gave us this law of chastity because like all his laws, they are designed to bring us joy and happiness. The blessings of waiting far outweigh the so-called benefits of jumping the gun! The odds of a marriage lasting when couples have waited until marriage are much higher than with those who chose not to wait. If people wait, they show that they have morals, have self-restraint, show that marriage is really special, and the person they marry is so special that they have reserved this ultimate expression of love for them, and them alone. It also means that people have fallen in love for all the right reasons, spiritual reasons, because of the qualities of character, compatibility in all the areas that make a marriage last. If all the other ingredients are there for love and marriage, the sex is natural and will follow. Besides with no one else to compare to, how can it not measure up. Pornography and promiscuity have been ruining marriages and homes in record numbers. Many of those marriages would have lasted, grown, and matured into something even better, not to mention the blessing to children who grow up with the same parents. The home is under attack like never before, and chastity is a good place to start to rebuild it, like is was in the olden days. You can tell whether you are compatible with another person in many ways that you can show affection without being unchaste. That wedding night is ever more special when it is the first time. Ask those who waited! Besides, its a great example for your children to follow and admire in you as their parents. When you ask them to live moral chaste lives, it packs far more meaning if you can speak from experience.

    Should

Should "In God We Trust" be taken off of US money?

    9,019 6,547
    No
God is the most important person to trust. The leaders and founders of this unique Country all believed in and trusted in God. That is who has backed our Country, our Freedoms, and our Success. Most of those who would want that off are people I personally would not really be offended if they left! Those types typically have had little to offer! People that would be offended by "In God we Trust" are usually kooks, anti-social, evil, or people with sour bad attitudes, who enjoy seeing others suffer emotionally, usually because they have had bad lives themselves. Otherwise how could anyone be offended by such a phrase!

If someone breaks into my house, should I be able to shoot them without going to prison?

Yes you should be able to shoot them
Your home is your castle. Anyone invading it without permission whom you don't know, you have to assume that they could easily harm you. People have been invaded and shot to death for $200! The world is a different place. If you fear for your life, you have the right to shoot someone invading your home. You have only one life to life, and there is no reason to have it cut short by some crook! Harming people tragically is as attractive to invaders as getting your money or TV!

Who should John McCain pick as a running mate?

Who should John McCain pick as a running mate?

    65 54
    Mitt Romney
Mitt is smart: Harvard MBA, Harvard Law Degree, both cum laude. He knows Wall Street, buit a multi-billion dollar company from scratch, took losers and made them winners, and would be best in guiding our Country to maintaining superiority over emerging China, India, Europe, etc. Mitt is a great speaker, youthful, handsome, and a great person with a great family, patriotic and beautiful courageous wife who is overcoming MS. Mitt has been a Governor of a major State, Mass, is flexible in his thinking, and comes with no baggage. He is conservative, spiritual, has a great interest in strenghtening the Family, and that is needed more than anything. Mitt is in favor of the Government letting you keep more of what you earn, because you are better able to spend it than the Government is, and Mitt is dedicated to protecting us against Jihad and its terrorists. He has it all, and takes away the concerns people may have about McCain being too old! Mitt is a man of principal, as he gracefully bowed out when he realized what was best for the GOP and America. Hucklephony was purposely squeezing him out for McCain by staying in a race he knew he had no chance of winning and bad mouthing Mormons. Romney chose to take the higher road, even though he showed he could beat any of his opponents, one-on-one.

Should John McCain Choose Condoleezza Rice as his Vice President?

    2,756 1,763
John McCain shouldn't choose Condoleezza Rice as his Vice President.
Condi is as good as it gets. I would have voted for her being President. Would she help John McCain in this election? The question would be, How? She is black, but that wouldn't give her one vote from black Americans because they already have their champion who is not going for the number two spot, but number one, so she wouldn't bring any black votes. She is a woman, but they already have their woman, Hillary, who will be Barak's Veep, so that won't get McCain any of the women's votes in favor of their other Veep candidate. She will be tainted as Bush's backer, and that will be used against her, even though she has done a great job, and Bush is not the rogue President he is conveniently being portrayed by the Liberal Press as. As a President, Si, as a Veep, it won't add anything to McCain. Mitt Romney would because he is Conservative, the best educated: Harvard Law and MBA, has strong Wall Street and economics background, has been a Governor of Mass, and is youthfull, handsome, a great speaker, smart, and the age issue will go away with McCain, knowing he has a brilliant, attractive back-up with no scandals in the closet, a beautiful and attractive patriotic wife. Mitt is McCain's best hope for a Veep, but GOP contenders haven't been very good at picking running mates, ala Spiro Agnew, Quayle, Bush Read my Lips, Sr., and Cheney who is smart and good, but from the wrong business considering.

Hillary wants both to be his Vice President and help repaying her debt.
Hilary and Bill are like Great White Sharks, circling the waters, and always looking for opportunities and prey! If Obama was smart, he would run as fast away from her and Bill as he can. If she was his Veep, his life would be in danger, and least of all, she would be hounding him constantly for the mike and the spotlight, and be sure, as before, she would want credit for the health care package he will try to sell if elected. These two are grifters from the start, like hyenas, or vultures, always looking for an opportunity to pick someone's bones, and get a cut in line!
