Because we have morals and think life is precious. I believe we would all be better off, if we just threw out our TV's and went back to playing board games and cards. Everyday, TV brings violence, sex and amoral thinking and teachings into our lives and into the lives of our young. We all need to get back to basics, but still keep up with current events. I believe that if gay people want to be recognized as couples, then they should found their own religion and ceremony for what they would constitute as being married. But religious marriages and all the ceremony involved with it...was created by our Christian and Judah religions and values...which does not include two men or two women getting married to each other, under the laws of Christian, Judah religion and values . Two men or two women can't create a baby together and that is one of the sole purposes of why we have marriage, in the first place. To sanctify the unity of two souls (man and woman) combining, together, as one, to create another soul, a baby. If gay marriages were allowed, then pretty soon, you would have some people saying they want to marry their brother, sister, mother, cat or dog and they would want their marriage to be recognized and accepted as legal. Where would it all end? In the end, this would render the Christian, Judah marriage ceremony and the vows that we take (that are considered very sacred and not to be taken lightly)...meaningless. That being said, I do believe that if a gay couple consider themselves wed to each other and they want their partner to have insurance coverage, etc. under their insurance, they should be able to have this. We all need insurance coverage and I can not see why they are not allowed to cover their partner.

We have as long, as we can learn the rule of laws and abide by them. Once that is taken away from us, chaos runs rampant.

They did not want to vet Obama, nor did his own party want to vet him. I hope the republicans keep on his BC issues and start investigating his background more. There were a lot of reasons, $600M reasons, to be exact why Obama won. And unless his campaign finances are investigated...we will never know how deep the blame goes.
