If two people love each other who cares?
I feel kind of stupid responding to this question. Responding as a person who believes the Bible is Gods Instruction for mankind, he doesn't anywhere in the entire book give the slightest hint at if it is good or bad. Acts 10:34 and 35 states any person of any nation who fears him is acceptable to him. John 3:16 says his son died for the world of mankind. In 2 Timothy is just mentions a man of God (an Elder in the congregation being irreprehensible and the husband of one wife, doesn't say what nationality she should be or what he should be either. No where does God hint at that he cares about the race of a man and wife, just that it's a man and a woman who are married. It talks about what type of husband he should be. He is the Creator of humankind, mankind, his son tasted death for all not just one race, if he doesn't put one race over another, why should we care what race a couple are? Of course a lot of people do, but their knowledge and thinking is so minute compared to The Creator of the Universe and everything that is in it. Our thinking is so limited. Isaiah 55: 9-11. we are as dust on a scale, get the picture??? SMH

What kind of question is that? Did he get a harder sentence? Did you mean to ask WHY did he receive a harder sentence than Paris? If that is what you really meant, what do you think? Do you think it was fair? What about attractive pediofiles getting a smack on the rist over a lesser attractive female for being a pediofile? What about Mary Jo Letourneau going to prison for 7 years and this Debra Lafave (however spelled) being too pretty to go to prison? I don't care how unattractive or if she's as beautiful and Cleopatra, if it were one of my son's. it would take THE CREATOR himself to forgive her because I wouldn't be able to! SMH

How many of you live in Texas or are originally from Texas?

How many of you live in Texas or are originally from Texas? What city and do you like it?

    13 10
I have lived there all my life.
I currently reside in Humble TX, I am from Ukiah CA, a small town in Mendocino County, approx. 3 hrs North of San Francisco. I like it because parts of it have a country feel to it, there are a lot of ranches, farms, horses etc, but part of it is like a very small city. There's 1 BOA, ! Wells Fargo, 1 Albertson's, 3 MacDonalds. You see a lot of people you know when you go just about anywhere. There are people you don't know and haven't seen before but a lot are very familiar. TX, is okay, I like it somewhat, I try to make the best of wherever I live, but I must say it is very different. People aren't into having computers very much, a lot of eating and eating and more eating. So many people here are a heart attack waiting to happen. Everything is so big and they like to do everything big. Everytime I am in a car on the freeway I say a prayer. That's the truth. I pray my son gets to work and home because the people cut you off and get of their cars and shoot people. Oh I can't forget a lot of people here act like Johnny Ringo and Jessie James here with their guns, that just blows my minds. People that I know who have guns in CA are hunters or collectors, the people here shoot and kill people that it's the thing to do. I am sure you heard about the Horn man who shot and killed two guys that broke into his neighbors house, and he knew they weren't home, the dispatcher told him the P/D were on there way and to keep his person in his house, you know the rest, I couldn't believe his attitude. To add insult to the two deaths, he's going to walk free, it might be a riot, but I believe he's going to walk away from that. Some final decision today as to if it goes to court, I think it was the Grand Jury,. The guys brought their deaths on themselves because the people who lived in the house could have been there and done the same thing, but at least it would have made a lot more since, like today, In Pasadena, TX an acct was up in the wee hrs of the am in his home ofc doing some work and heard someone breaking into his home, he told his wife to hide with the baby, got his 45 out of the garage connected to his home and shot the guy and killed him, of course his actions were totally within the law. My son and I moved from Spring to Humble and some neighbors came over to welcome us, anyway this one guy calls me Mom because I am old enough to be his mother and he tells me if I ever have any trouble with anyone to let him know and he pulls this gun out of his waist, his pullover shirt had been hiding it. I was stunned to say the least. He's also taught his girlfriends young sons how to shoot the rifle which he also brought over for us to see. Everytime he would come over he would have his gun, I told him in no uncertain terms to not bring it here anymore, I just find that so hard to believe, I wonder how many people are running around with guns in their pants. I am scared to go to Houston, not far away, but I've been told a lot of the thugs and gangbangers that t were affected by Katrina live there now and the crime has risen 300% since then. So I guess I've answered your question. I usally get antsy and move around 3 yrs, Denver, CA and CA, Denver, next move will probably be way before that length of time, I've been here 9mths and I don't like venturing too far from home. There's a lot more that's really different, even with all of that, I still like something about TX.....SMH

Will Kobe play for lakers in 2007?

Will Kobe play for lakers in 2007?

    25 20
    Undecided
I don't know but I think Kobe is totally frustrated with not winning. He scores enough for 4 or 5 more players in a lot of the games, but it's called a basketball team, and he can't win the games all by himself even if he can score 81 points. The powers that be need to get him some powerhouse players to help him out a little. Kobe knows that he's good but he believes in practicing no matter what, and some of the past Lakers didn't. Kurt Rambis could get them to practice, but Phil Jackson, they didn't listen to him all of the time even if it looked like they did, he would tell them to practice, but if they wanted to, they did, if they didn't want to, they didn't. That was one of the reasons that Kobe had a lot of problems with some of his team mates, he is about winning and being in shape for the next day and they would get off the bus, and look for the clubs. They were too self confident because they knew they were the Lakers and they were good. Practice and rest is what those players need when they want to win games not to be looking tired and ridiculous on the floor the next day and you have this one man hustling amd making 3 pointers all over the place, he's would really be playing against himself, breaking his own records, he proved he could break almost everyone else's. Isn't there just one players record he hasn't broken yet? Bill Russell or Wilt Chamberlain? Oh well if he decides again he wants to be traded, the next time it will be for keeps, it's probably coming soon.....SMH

Looks like the MySpace Guys got $50 million! What would you do with $50 million?

    Something...
I would find a very constructive way to give away $30 million to causes, organizations and people I believe would benefit the most. I would contact pillars of the poorest communities and assigned people who are good organizers to work with them and find families who are hard working and a good example to their neighborhood, and or families and give them a helping hand. I am sure it wouldn't take long to spend the 30 million because it will only go so far but at least I would feel good about helping as many as I could. Oh the other 20 million would help from my mother to children, grandchildren. I am not talking about any toys that could be hazzarous to their health. I don't think toys and things really make children happy anyway. Two of my four would give a lot of the million away, the other two, well my oldest is selfish, my diabetic son is materialistic, maybe by the time he got through buying all the toys he likes maybe he would help some people don't know. That's the reason 30million would be no problem for me to help others. I would want the majority of it do some good, help people who are trying hard to help themselves......SMH

She will continue to wear it, if her and her hubby don't take the threats serious. I know people have causes, but feel it is very sick and fanatical for people to threat and harm people because they don't believe in their cause. God made the animals, so if he allows it, I didn't say approve, but if he allows, people eat meat with his permission why should fanatics go around throwing paint or ink on someones fur? He definetly doesn't approve of abortion, but some people do for different reasons, if he allows it, why should people blow up Doctors offices or kill because of their participation in the abortion? Their killing or destroying, doesn't earn them any points with God. As the old cliche goes, 2 wrongs do not add up to 1 right.......SMH

The first option on here is the reason why I don't understand why it isn't a law all across the country. I feel a person who smokes around their children are absolute idiots. I read an article, think it was in WebMD not sure but it said, that even smoking outside still doesn't do the child any favors. Well I take issue with that, because the person my not smell too good but at least the child / ren aren't breathing it into their lungs. There's still some dumb women who smoke while pregnant. The same as putting the cigarette in their little hands and teaching them to smoke when they're old enough to hold a cigarette...SMH Bet I wasn't missed! :-))

The choice of both should have been there also. I like both. I like them both for different reasons. They are both offer things. The one thing about My Space I like is, it is or can be more intimate. For example when my address book was checked on each of my email accounts My Space found people in them that were on My Space. I could just add them to my address book. People with the same interests are linked together in more than one way. I like the idea of having music too! Soda Head has a variety of subjects that can be picked from to comment on, you can post a subject. You comment on what interest you and stay away from the rest. I have 2 grandchildren who are on My Space and I go on it more than they do. They hardly go on it. I am glad of that. Speaking of that, I am not worried about my grandson going on there, but I am going to get off of here and check and see my granddaughter's page. I've been on his, hardly anything on there. I am going to go see how often she goes on, she says not often, I shall see, I haven't been on her page yet. I just signed up about 1.5 week ago, what about you? SMH
