It would show that Obama does intend to reach across party lines and do what he thinks is right for the country as opposed to being partisan. Had McCain been elected I would have had no doubt that there would be a position for Lieberman and a few positions would have been given to democrats.

I do think the majority of those officers were protecting that guy from getting torn apart. The one that got physical with him and lost his cool a little may have supported Obama or was irritated that this kid did not get he was being protected . The police obviously just wanted him to leave. They would rather have him leave or arrest him than allow him to stay and then end up arresting hundreds of Obamaites for assault. I do not think the police were hauling him away for the shirt, but to prevent filling their jails with Obama supporters who would have assaulted this guy. Even if it was a public celebration the police had a choice. They either had to suppress this guys freedom of speech at this particular event or let him express his freedom of speech, get his ass kicked, and then arrest a few hundred Obama supporters, which would initiate a bigger riot, and a few thousand arrests and a long hard night. This was riot and "headache" control on the police part. The police do have a responsibility to remove an element from a situation that they perceive is going to cause a lot of harm or a riot. This was not suppression of freedom of speech.

Will never work the way he promised. I make less then 50,000, but I have always looked for ways to increase income. I never thought my income would get increased because the government was gonna take from the wealthy and just give it to me. I keep wondering how much that wealthy line will come down before its all over.

The most ridiculous statement I have heard since the election of Obama is a few democrats who have said that now that the Republicans have lost they are looking at how they can get power back. These people have stated we need to unify under the president for the good of the country.... What .....?!?! where was this attitude back in 2000 and 2004.... and Republicans are only out for power.... and democrats are not? The democrats have spent the last 8 years planning taking power back. Democrats said the same thing after they lost control of Congress in 1994 and the presidency in 2000. So now that they succeeded, now they call for unifying for the good of the country? oh please. This whole concept is the most ridiculous thing I have been hearing since the election. If McCain won you can be sure these same people would not be calling for unifying. In fact I will ask that question.

Marrigae is already defined and needs not be changed. It is and has always been that marriage is between man and woman. No society has ever sanctioned or defined marriage for same genders. People are divided on whether to change the definition or not. Although I disagree completely with even a "civil union" I bet most of those people who voted for a gay marriage ban would vote in favor of civil unions that legally have all the rights of a marriage. I would oppose this as well, but I think most Americans would support civil unions with the same rights as marriage but leave marriage defined as man and woman. After all a same gender union is not the same as a marriage by definition. The only way same gender unions can be argued the same thing as a marriage is if you change the definition of marriage and people do not want that change.

Things will be far worse than they were in the Clinton days. We will move closer to socialism. The USA will not be safe from terrorist attacks. Under Clinton the US got attacked over and over again in oversea places like the USS Cole and there was the first Trade Center bombing. All this led the terrorists to percieve the US as weak and so the planned and executed 9/11/01. Since that there were other terrorist attacks that the US foiled. Now that have elected Barrack Obama I think Biden is correct, he will be tested. We will be attacked again as well more than once. Americans will be afraid, very afraid. They will soon gain a love for what George Bush did, see that the democrats way of "talk" is wrong and elect Republicans in 2010 and 2012 and Obama will be out.

Blood run in the streets? from liberals? They whine a whole lot, throw temper tantrums, go out and protest with sometimes a lot of violence, but blood running in the streets? If there is any blood running in the streets it would be by a small fringe on way out there lunatic edge. There might be rioting and destruction, but blood running in the streets as in liberals racing out into the streets to kill people? no way, first of all what are they gonna do...? Obama loses, and a bunch of armed liberals race into the street and start trashing, looting and destroying, but who are they gonna kill or hurt so badly that "blood runs in the streets"? Are they gonna asked "who did you vote for?" if you say McCain then "bang" shoot you? or are they just gonna kill anyone in a BMW or a Lexus.... My pastor says basically that when politicians violate God's Word it is a Pastor's duty to preach against it. Obama said that one of the first things he will do as President is sign the Freedom of choice act, something that will erase existing state abortion laws, parental notification laws and basically make abortion legal to the ninth month. Abortion is the murder of babies whose blood is crying out to God from the grave. Also the democrats stand in favor generally of gay marriage. On these two huge moral issues alone that clearly fly in the face of the Word of God my Pastor says that a Christian will be accountable to God for their vote. Essentially He has said to not vote for the democratic platform. He also says that if speaking out the Word of God causes the church to loose its Tax exempt status and non profit status well, then Oh well, so be it.
