    Undecided.
It sounds absurd to me. However, a lot of black Americans have carried the dream of witnessing a black man elected president for a long time because it represents an important milestone in the progress of the black American community. Barak Obama presents the chance of making that dream a reality so, if their hopes are dashed, it could lead to protests where certain misfits and malcontents may attempt to insight anger and violence- especially in communities that have a history of rioting. I highly doubt it though.

I don't believe in God or Satan, I know dinosaurs used to live here on earth millions of years ago.
Makes sense to me. I mean, faith depends on ignorance and ignorant people make up garbage like this to preserve their faith. Fossils are proof of evolution but some people are determined to convince themselves that the seven days of creation was real. Too bad!

Bali Bombers ask for Painless Execution: Do they deserve their wish?

    98 148
They're bombers. They do not deserve painless execution.
They should be tied down on a cold stainless steal morticians table and pumped full of caffeen. First, their ribs, arms and legs should be broken and crushed with sledge hammers. Then their fingers and toes should be severed at every joint with pruning sheers. Then there arms and legs should be disected one peice at a time until all that is left are their heads and torsos. Clamps and staples should be used to keep them from bleeding to death. Then they should be eviserated one organ at a time, leaving only their hearts and lungs intact. Then their jaws, toungs, eyes and ears should be removed. Tie ropes around their necks and let them squirm and buck around on the ground coughing blood, screeming and moaning until they pass out and die. Of course, the whole process should be nationally televised live before a studio audience in early prime time with plenty of fancy graphics, sound effects and theme music.

House Apologizes For Jim Crow & Slavery- Should The House Of Representatives Pay Reparations To Slave Decedents?

House Apologizes For Jim Crow & Slavery- Should The House Of Representatives Pay Reparations To Slave Decedents?

    102 263
Yes. The House of Representatives should help slave decendants- the Jim Crow Laws were our fault.
The Jim Crow laws are not our fault but Congress still bares the responsibility of compensating the decendants for the pain and suffering it caused for their ancestors. If this resolution doesn't address reparations, then what does it resolve? Whatever it is, I seriously doubt a simple "we're all real sorry" is going to cut it for most people. Yes, Congress DOES owe reparations to ALL of the decendants of every slave that America ever had all the way back to the Declaration of Independence. That includes African slaves, native American slaves, and Irish slaves. Now if Congress can't afford to pay up all at once then it needs to pay whatever it can afford to pay until it pays off this debt. It can start with tax exemptions.

$20 Million Buried Treasure In Mexico -Did Franz Felhaber Handle It Well?

    13 7
I think that Franz Felhaber and Francisco Javier Ramos Saenz-Pardo should have...
... done whatever they wanted. Cash money is a "bearer instrument", which means whoever has it owns it. Unlike stocks and bonds, which are "registered instruments", no records are kept of who owns cash money or how anyone comes to have it. As long as the money is genuine, it should be good anywhere. That means Mr Felhaber doesn't need to explain a damn thing to anyone. So why is the "Justice" Department seeking to take such unjust action against Mr Felhabor? Why do they want to violate his privacy rights and confiscate his property, on nothing more than idle suspicion? Is that "Justice"? H*LL NO! Whoever these gestapo meatheads at the so-called "Justice" Department are, they need to go back to school to learn what "justice" is and to understand what the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights are, and maybe take a class economics.

What is the meaning of life?

What is the meaning of life?

    1,138 544
Leo Tolstoy: The sole meaning of life is to serve humanity.
To ask what is the meaning of any thing is to imply that the thing serves as an expression by it's creator. Most people believe that life was created by a god. Therefore life is an expression of love by god. But, if you don't believe in any gods, then nothing has any meaning unless a living being gives it meaning. In that case, life is it's own creator and we each exist as an expression of love by and between our parents. In either case, the meaning is love.

It's ridiculous. I can understand when children are decieved into believing in supernatural things like ghosts, I did when I was a kid. But I have very low tollerance for mature adults who claim to, unless they're retarded or braindamaged from drug abuse.

Is it okay to have Sex before marriage?

    2,679 1,883
    yes
Absolutely. Some people are great liers- even at kissing- but even the best liers have a hard time faking sex. That's why it's absolutely necessary to have sex before marriage. Sex is the ultimate expression of love and, if you're bf/gf truely loves you, the sex will tell you. To enter into marriage without that confirmation is just asking for trouble. If you follow the advice of all the superstitious half-wits who believe they are smarter than they actually are, you will be married and divorced many times or unhappy in your first marriage for the rest of your short miserable life. You will likely die young and your children will probably be ugly and retarded.

    No motorcycles aren't safe.
Of course motorcycles aren't safe. They're fast, fuel efficient, and fun to ride but, if you have an accident, you're nearly gaurenteed to suffer serious injury or death. Keep in mind though that "safty" is a purely statistical concept based on similar but unrelated events collectively refered to as "risk". If you're a safe motorcycle driver, you may never even see an accident. If you're a stunt driver, an accident will probably be the last thing you ever see.

    Should

Should "In God We Trust" be taken off of US money?

    9,019 6,547
    No
US money yes. But we aren't using US money. For the last 100 years we've been using "Federal Reserve" money. The Federal Reserve is a private corporation, like Federal Express, which in 1913 was given the exclusive right to print it's own private money for use by the public. That's where interest ultimately comes from, it's how we pay for using their money. The "we" in "in God we Trust" doesn't mean "we the people", it only mean "we - the Federal Reserve board of governers". Since it's their money, they can put whatever they want on it.

Cool Anti-Drug Initiative- Congress Struggles To Come Up With An Awesome Name- Could You Come Up With One?

Cool Anti-Drug Initiative- Congress Struggles To Come Up With An Awesome Name- Could You Come Up With One?

    25 34
I would call the Anti-Drug Initiative...
Drug abuse is merely a symptom of the greater problem of people's sadness and dispare. The vast majority of sadness and dispare in the lives of most Americans comes from what federal and state Congresses are doing to us and our economies. They continue to support big corporate monopolies with patent grants, which keep us all employed rather than self employed. Then they take advantage of our employement by garnishing income taxes from our wages without our permission or approval. Most people don't know or care about politics but they do care about money. Drugs, like most other black market products, present desperate people with a way to make money tax free all by themselves- something that Congress has worked hard to eliminate in the legal economy. For others, it gives them a way to numb their sadness and dispare- making them unproductive as well. It only figures that Congress would respond to the drug trade with nothing but ignorance and contempt- prohibition, criminalization, paramilitary police action and mandatory minimum prison sentencing. Obviously, the true goal of Congress is not to keep us happy but to keep us under control. So, a good name for any sort of anti-drug initiative from Congress might be something like ... the "Unhappiness Rocks" initiative.

Jesse Jackson Speaks about Obama and "Mental Recession": Do you agree with Jackson's perception of Obama's speech?

    14 16
I couldn't say if Jackson is right or wrong because....
... what ARE Obama's principles? Answer: same as most other "Democrats" - income taxes, overregulating the economy, and welfare. In contrast, what are McCain's principles? Answer: same as most other "Republicans" - income taxes, overregulating the economy, and warfare. It's important to point out that political parties are not government agencies, they're nothing more than private special interest groups and these two parties do NOT represent my interests. They shouldn't represent anyone elses interests either. The Democrats and Republicans in particular are responsible for all the political corruption and economic mismanagement we've been witnessing and suffering from every day since the 16th Amendment was passed in 1913 turning Congress into a financial watering hole for liers, cheaters and thieves. That's why, in every election I've ever participated in throughout my entire adult life, I've always voted either Libertarian or independant.
