Why does it seem that it is okay to make fun of and pick on a white person, but as soon as you make fun of and pick on a black person, it makes you a racist??

I have asked this question a lot.. I would like to know why it is ok myself. I have experienced racism at least 4 or 5 times, maybe more. I actually thought about calling the owner of a store I went in once and telling them that I was discriminated against. Long story short, I was completely ignored when I went into this one store and was NEVER spoken to. I was the only one of my color in there and everyone that walked in was greeted and catered to like you wouldn't believe. I was not imagining this at all. Now is this racism? I think so. I would never dream of doing anything like this and I never have.

VERY good question. Why do they accept gifts of money or other things given to them, like at work by customers or others during Christmas? Or it seems very easy for them to spend money with "in God we Trust" written on it. This may sound like I am knocking the atheist and for that, I mean no harm. But I would question these things and would like a good answer.
