Why does the US go through this cycle repeatedly? First America feels sadly about a people that are mass murdered by a government such a communism or dictatorship. We get involved. If war erupts the same socially aware people blames us.?

SO an 8-year old manages to shoot himself in the face with an uzi while under parental and trained instructor supervision at a gun range. Could this have been prevented? Should blame be placed on someone or was this just a tragic accident?

This is just goofy. What is the need for an 8 year old trying to learn to use an uzi? Wow. There shouldn't be a law to prevent it. Just real parents and a real instructor. This should not have been tried in the first place. An 8 year old could not handle the recoil you would think. The 8 year olds intelligence shouldn't be questioned. But over all this is just wrong. All the adults involved should be charged with child endagerment and liable for whatever injuries occured.

I wish that pain- in - the arse blais would quit forcing us to listen to his choice of crap every time I get in the same poll. He finally blocked me a day or so before the election.. I just had to say this-it feels like spam/ bulllying every time I get near a poll with him on it with forced music, and there is no way to let the jerk know.. without reporting to sodahead higherups. Back to the question. It'll have to be ok. For the time being. I don't want to fight and argue everyone but I will be the appropriate informed person I try to be. The only thing that concerns me is since they are just rising to power now, they haven't quite let go of the bashing. It will be 4-8 years more of just sitting and watching.

I've heard this information in so many places. I resposted this blog/link it in the Politics Government group but Obama people don't like going to it.. they only like the libel slander section working Palin over even though the election is over. I guess it's back to the National Enquirers for them and their job is over for the next few years. Thanks for the many attempts to get people to read.

Only two times. My best girlfriend in college was black in the late 70's. When visiting with her cousins who were young women, they wanted nothing to do with me when I would say hi or talk to them without Denise around. Her and I chummed because she felt the rest of our class acted fairly cold (racist) to her. It was nice to have an exclusive friendship that we have to this day. The other instance was over a 2 year period and happened recently in a midwestern state working in a place I loved with 120 employees with many nationalities and 50% immigrants in a department of a hospital system in Minneapolis. This was the only time I could imagine what it was like working for a slave owner because one of two ladies sounded exactly like one with her tone of voice, threats and her love of the violence and control. I have never seen this in my life before- peaceful one day and like a prison the next. Everyone liked everyone except 2 southern black women who decided for everyone who could talk to whom, when, and if we were even allowed to talk in meetings or have any conversation. The days these two women were scheduled we had to split into separate worlds from everyone else. These two were not in any way in a management position.. they were just like the rest of us with unique job assignments. On the other days we were relaxed and not not threatened. We could interact with each other like any human would like - asking about different cultures, different parts of the world and enjoying each other. It would be like heaven one day and hell the next, depending if they were at the "office". Legal threats, job upsets, scheduling problems, fights, complete disorder, non-existant attendance and work abandonment after punching in for the day, accusations of theft of narcotics wrongly placed on elderly women,... and our boss seemed to ignore it all until several years later when one was let go. Even though I loved the place and the job I had to leave before anyone else lost their job. It was difficult to watch and be in. It was so obviously wrong how people were being put in stressful, dangerous situations because two women wanted to control the atmosphere.
