The day of the union is over I worked in a closed shop if you weren't union you did not work. I was forced to pay union dues every month. The health care plan was the worst ever. The four years I worked there they never got us more money they did manage to raise our union dues twice. Needless to say the company went bankrupt and the union drove them their. I know of a person who was laid off from GM in 1999 he sat in a room at Gm for 4 weeks doing nothing collecting 58.00 an hour waiting to find work. This is why Gm and other car companies are going bankrupt. The UAW is out of control just like most unions in this country. They say big business is evil well try taking a good look at big UNION"S.

A company my friend owns is doing this. He has 125 employees he has been told by his accountant that he needs to let 20 people go. His wholesale prices have jump 8 -10% this year alone. He considers his employees like family. So what he did walked through the parking lot of his company. Any one who had a Obama bumper sticker on their car will be the first to go.
