Regarding "pancaking" of floors; Modern buildings, especially those in crowded urban environments are designed and built to pancake. It's a lot safer that way. They will do that whether support fails or explosives are used.

I think it is the parent's responsibility to educate their children about sex. BUT unfortunately there are too many parents who are inept or just don't see anything wrong with a 15 or 16 old having a baby. (thank you Jamie Lynn) We need to teach abstinence (yes, it works) as well as birth control.
