Admittedly I am a liberal democrat. So, my vote today would be a D. I think only time will tell for the long run. If going to Iraq turns out to be a good thing down the road, I imagine he won't go down quite as unpopular as he is now.

I am certainly smarter than the average American, depending on the IQ test I am in the 130-140 range. However, I still think I am somewhere in the middle. There is a lot I still learn. A lot I need to learn. I hope to be able say when I die that I am a certified genius. But, I am not there yet.

None of the above would have been my answer. I don't think someone aquited of a crime, that then is later found guilty of another crime should have the sentance from the first crime tacked on to their sentance for the crime they were convicted of. Wow, that was a mouthful.

I am a liberal. I am not a stupid liberal. I understand why there are conservatives. I understand that a lot of Republicans are fiscal conservatives, rather than social ones and that they tend to vote with their pocketbook. I get all of this. I just don't understand why they want all things monetarily related to be de-regulated but all things moral to be regulated. I guess you could make the same argument in reverse about liberals. I have spent a lot of time trying to figure out why people vote the way they do. I have come to the realization that I will never figure it out. I do agree that not all conservatives are evil, most in fact are not evil. I just have fundamentally different views than them and I can't seem to wrap my head around their views. I have given up on trying.

While I do not want another 4 years of this administration I am better off now than I was 8 years ago. But, for me it is more about other things in my life: getting married and having children to name two. When I was single I worked. I am married now and I am a stay at home mom. I do not however, think the country as a whole is better off, and I think that is the better question to ask.

I imagine there are people who wish that McCain had chosen someone else. I, however, do not think that it would be the prudent thing to do at this point in replacing her. I think it would make people question his judgement even further. I think he needs to ride this ticket out at this point.
