Sadly, this is something that needed to be delt with back when slavery was made illegal. It has been over a decade and how are we to figure who gets it and who doesnt? How do you know or prove you are related to a slave? I see Obama taking on this subject. If anyone will get it done it is him. But there isnt much that can be done now. Who is going to pay for this? Are whites going to get taxed more? Like a slavery reparation tax? All the whites are dead who owned slaves and so are the slaves. That is a very sad picture. It is not related to slavery but it is related to those horrible Jim Crow laws.
