    All of the above
Yes, this is a terribly disturbing book, however, it was probably created for psychologists to be able to begin discussion with a child that had undergone these such terrible circumstances rather than being a mainstream children's book. More than likely, the book helps open up children that have had these problems and don't know how to talk about it. Even more disturbing then the images and situations described in this book meant for children is the fact that the story line and plot was an actual depiction of some child's life.

Did United Airlines act unfairly by kicking an orthodox Jew off the flight for praying?

Yes, they couldv'e waited until the man was done praying!
In Judaism, after you leave the restroom, you thank Gd for having created our bodies with all of its intricate bits and pieces which are regulated by Gd. We do this because we are most aware of how our bodies function after we use it (aka the restroom). The prayer takes literally three minutes. No plane is on such a tight schedule that these minutes would drastically alter their ability to conduct themselves in the usual manner especially considering that they have allotments for difficulties with getting the whole passenger cabin in their seats before taking off. His friends were correct. Once a prayer is begun you cannot speak or direct attention away from the prayer. However, why didn't his friends speak up for him and let them know that it would only be a few minutes and that he has to finish since he began the prayer?
