I guess I am what you would call a "Hard Core" Buddhist. I am always reading different things on the various sects and philosophies and my belief pretty much runs my life. There are, however, some conclusions I have drawn that some mainstream Buddhists would call "unconventional". They are justified, though, as I came to them through analytical study of our body of writing.

chocolate or hunnysuckle. I wear many mainstream colognes but I have one that smells very hunysuckle and I dont know anyone else who wears it. As for chocolate...I always have some on me so I'm sure people smell it when I come in the room.

It depends on the motives of the conqueror. I happen to believe that one will guiding all of mankind is a good idea providing that will is altruistic in nature. Total peace requires absolute control and compliance. Tibet was once ruled by the Dalai Lama with good results. I think Mexicans are a brown treasure. Most of my friends are mexican and they are the nicest people ever. Also they add so much to our culture. The US was built by immigrants and I am so sick of our white trash losers chanting "I'm American". Unless you are native American someone in your ancestry came from overseas. Its not fair to suddenly decide to close the doors because you and your family are well off.

It is a fact of biology that men are primarily visually stimulated when it comes to sexual urges. Women tend to be stimulated by erotic ideas or stories. Also, Humans are a rare species where the mating season is pretty much every day. So just try to imagine being a male that has sexual urges outside his control almost as often as ...say...thirst. Then take into account that they are stimulated by any and every sight of a woman. Its not easy to counter. Its rude but sadly completely natural. I have listened to every episode of loveline from 98-05 and Dr. Drew talks about this phenomenon quite often.

I love the way you think. True we don't pick our family and just because we share some genetic traits doesn't mean we are at all similar. If I came across a youth that I really admired I wouldn't mind adopting him and making him my favorite. Even ahead of my own kids. I have met people during my travels that I feel are way better and much more important to me than my family of origin. You gotta go with what is best. In fact that common blood is a perfect reason why my family is worth nothing to me. I have the blood of my family and I now have kids so I don't need my parents or siblings at all now. Do I?

Parenting is a heavy responsibility that most adults today are not ready for. It is necessary to have a license to drive, to own a gun, to own some pets, to practice medicine...the list goes on and on. However, any loser with germ cells can make children and most of society just accepts that their word is as good as the word of god. No way! Every human deserves the right to have a judge or jury hear evidence from PROFESSIONALS like most doctors in their respective fields of expertise. I do not believe, however, that the parents should have to provide the court fees. If a child wants to have its day in court it needs to put the scratch togethor or find a lawyer willing to do PRO BONO work. I am a young parent of 5 (I know its a lot) and I have done sooo much reading, but I am not an expert in the field because of it. I DESERVE to have my judgement questioned because it will keep me from becoming one of those self rightous parents who actually believe they know best for their kids when the best they could do for them selves is a janitor at a local high school. If you are a parent and are making less than $50,000 a year mabey...just mabey....you don't know everything.
