I was 25 when I met my husband and he was 19. It felt a lot different then, but only for a while. Once time passed, it really feels like we are the same age. Now I am almost 37 and he turned 31 last night. We get along wonderfully and have only had about 3 fights and they weren't that bad.

However, I don't just talk to any baby and they don't necessarily appeal to me the way that they do to some probably b/c I have never been around them much until Feb. when my sister had a girl. I am VERY interested in her, obviously. When my mom talks to her pets it sounds like the way she talked to us as babies--sweet, soft and loving.

I find it laughable that people think this is about a word. It is about being viewed as equal and normal and having a stamp of approval from government, thus normalizing gay relationships, which they feel will eventually lead to societal acceptance. I honestly see where both sides are coming from. I don't think anyone will ever see gay relationships are "normal" simply b/c they will always represent a minority, unlike color where people increasingly come from mixed backgrounds. I have a few pretty good friends that are gay and I would like them to continue to live thier lives as they see fit. I am not prepared to tell them they can't be married, yet I understand the perspective of those that fear the slippery slope. I just don't personally fear gay marriage. I truly understand both sides--perhaps I don't feel strongly about it b/c I lack religious upbringing.

I agree, but I swore I wouldn't be one of those bitter anti-Bush fanatics that blamed everything on him. I am going to try to only place blame where blame is due and if he does do anything good--give him credit. My biggest fear is our first and second amendment rights.
