There is plenty of blame to go around for the media, uneducated voters who voted for "change" and nothing else, and John McCain himself. But the real blame belongs to Republicans who have steered away from Conservatism. To think that people want moderate leaders was a mistake. We put a moderate leader in the running for president, and voters were not impressed with his message of "crossing the aisle" and "maverick" and "bi-partisanship". It's time to clean house and get some fresh CONSERVATIVE blood into the Republican Party.

From a very Conservative Republican to all of you who voted for Obama: Congratulations! I was sad last night to learn that Barack Obama had reached the magic number of 270, but this is a new day. The majority of American voters have spoken. It's a done deal. I will go out today and accomplish all of my errands and I will go to work with my usual positive, upbeat attitude. I will continue to work hard and stay ahead. I'm not expecting anyone to help me - I will get it done myself, as I always have. I've always been happy in my life, and that will not change now. I am anxious about what our new "changed" government will bring us, but I am hopeful that our wonderful country will prosper. I am looking forward to seeing the results that everyone is expecting. Will they be positive results? I sure hope so. I am not hoping for failure - if the Democrats are successful, then surely it will mean more success for me. I have been very suspicious about the plans that the liberals have been putting out there, but maybe I've been wrong. Maybe they will actually work. Now that the people are in place who can put these plans into action, I am ready to see if they will, in fact, work. You Democrats have four years to do your stuff. That should be plenty of time to show me that I've been wrong. If I have been wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. I'm not going to rely on the media to tell me it's working. I must see the results myself. I will know if I'm getting to keep more of my money, and I will know if I'm not. I will keep an open mind and watch the events of the next four years unfold. We are all Americans. Whether or not you voted for Obama, and for whatever reason, I will continue to respect you and try my best to help you should you need it. I will not whine about our president and call for his resignation - no matter what. The people have hired Obama and Biden, and now it's time to let them do their job. The Democratic Congress and the Democratic House have the numbers to get things done. There can be no more excuses as to why things aren't getting done. I really don't want to hear about "bi-partisan" and "crossing the aisle". That's not needed. The Democrats have the numbers. I don't want the Republicans that are still in office to get any credit or blame for things that will be happening for the next four years. Yeah. That's over the top. I've had people tell me they refuse to give candy to trick or treaters that are 16 years old or older. Come on. I want the government to take more of my hard earned money and give it to the people who refuse to work hard. I want gas prices to reach the $7 per gallon mark, because I don't want to drill for oil here - I'd much prefer to give my gas money to the Middle Eastern radicals that hate us.
