Respect what he wants and let him end the friendship. You shouldn't use confided info as a weapon against another person.
and said : If he is as convinced as he sounds that he wants to end the friendship, then your efforts will continue to be futile. He may get over it eventually, but for now it may be best to let the friendship fade. He'll likely only get more angry with you if you persist.

No; Vito Fossella's private life has nothing to do with his job. An affair is no reason for a politician to resign.

and said : Pregnant women shouldn't smoke, but it shouldn't be illegal. There are way too many unnecessary laws out there. If a mother-to-be wants a healthy child, it is in her best interest to not smoke during her pregnancy (or around her child after it is born).

and said : I don't really think kids should be so sheltered from what's out there, because it's out there. What kind of shock will they get when they're finally exposed to the real world? Besides, art shouldn't be altered. If art is altered we may never be able to see it's true meaning or importance.

and said : Because it is slang of the youth (and twenty-somethings), I don't think a lot of people really think about what they are really saying. I can definitely see how this could be offensive, rude, and inconsiderate, but a lot of people don't seem to have a problem with it. I wonder where the phrase came from, because replacing the word 'stupid' with 'gay' just isn't right. Then again, there's a lot of slang out there that doesn't seem right when you really think about it.
