Yes and they are there for me all the time!
and said : True friends are very rare these days. There are many sociological reasons why this is so, but the reasons almost do not matter anymore, we are stuck with the consequences and powerless to change society. I have true friends who have my back 100% of the time. They would not fill up all the spaces at the table in our formal dining room as they are so damn few in number. Frankly, that does not matter to me because it only takes one good friend to get my ass out of a sling. -- mars

Frankly, as always, it all depends on what an individual chooses to believe. So watch out for the fireworks, kiddies, because whether the tablet represents facts or faith — it’ll make believers of some while the usual collection of skeptics mount their platforms for another field day. and said : I have declared independence from religious dogma. It’s all man-made, written by fallible people who need erasers on the end of their pencils! I don’t need works of fiction to enable me to believe in the creator, the evidence is all around me. To be sure, some of these fallible human authors were (perhaps) inspired by their personal spiritual experiences and attempted to share that inspiration with others through their manuscripts. But frankly, you’ve been quoting text from works of fiction written by many fallible human beings. You base your position on passages which have been translated and retranslated numerous times. The work of imperfect men burdened by the work of other imperfect men. To what avail? Look around you and see what is to be seen. Study the beauty and mysteries of our world. If after doing so you can honestly doubt the existence of a creator… so be it. However, I suspect that if you are freed from the pathetic bullshit man has written in his awkward attempts to define the creator and you see what it is that is our world you will know the creator exists and revere that existence. You Won’t need the hackneyed quotes from those dusty manuscripts anymore than you need quotes from Shakespeare to sound cultured at a garden or cocktail party. Thankfully, the Victorian era has come and gone.☼
