and said : My husband always gave me flowers with a Visa card. After the new washing machine one Christmas he sort of just said go get whatever you want and know I love you and want you to have it. How can you be mad although it would have been nice if he had ever taken the time to find our what cologne or present I wanted.

Clinton's Third Term - here's why:
and said : I think he believes if he can do even half as well as Clinton did with the economy and job creation that he can be revered like Clinton was and is in the Democratic party. I don't think he has the ability that Clinton had to compartmentalize that Clinton had however and he is going to get caught up in the details and lose the big picture. But by using so many of Clinton's people he is recreating the Clinton legacy or attempting to. Thing is people either loved Clinton or hated him and Obama wants everyone to believe he is the greatest that ever was and his isn't any more than Clinton was. The most brilliant move Clinton made was to make the earned income credit payable by the month which put money in the hands of the poorest of working Americans and immediately put money back in the economy every month. Sort of a monthly stimulus check to those who spend every penny they get. He can't recreate that or improve it and the economy is already dependent on that now so unless he increased the amount it isn't going to stimulate much.

Why does the US go through this cycle repeatedly? First America feels sadly about a people that are mass murdered by a government such a communism or dictatorship. We get involved. If war erupts the same socially aware people blames us.

and said : We want instant results and when we get in there and it is not an easy fix and our boys anf girls are dying and our money is gone for things we need here at home we get over it. We are not seeing the long range though because the media is only focusing on the cost and the mire and not the accomplishments. Sad because we have done some good things and it just is not counting.

and said : You know I have treasured you as a friend and as a fellow American. I think it is so courageous of you to continue to go when this country needs you when we all know so many take the easy way out and just moan about how bad it is. You fight and put your life on the line for those people to have that right and that is humbling to me when I open my mouth to realize it is because of brave men and women who put their lives on the line that I have that right and keep it. I want to add more....
and said : Archie I have unblocked many of those who I blocked but not all. Some of them were so vile I would never want to have anything to do with them in any time in my life. My own life is in a state of chaos right now and to be honest I need all of my friends. But I can not feel in any way happy at Obama's win. I just wish I honestly in my soul thought he could do the job. But time will tell and being the eternal optimist I hope he proves me wrong. In all my life the only politicians who ever proved me wrong was Clinton because in spite of his nuttiness he did a fine job. I hope Obama is capable of doing even half as well and if he can he will be a successful president. None of us wants him to fail. Skepticism abounds. But I will be happy to admit I was wrong if he proves I was wrong.
