and said : Love Christmas. Just love the whole "feel" of it. The kindly, forgiving, generally good time. With some of the best shows of any holiday. I love A Christmas Carol (with George C. Scott) the best and I also love Miracle on 34th Street. Such a wonderful time of year. "A time when men and women open up their shut-up hearts to their fellow creatures" Fred Hollywell (Ebenezer Scrooge's nephew)

A Christmas Carol (George C. Scott version)
and said : Hands down. Not only is this the quintessential Christmas story, it is the best version. I have read he actual story and the dialogue is the closest to the book of any version. George C. Scott plays the most dead on and believable Scrooge. Patrick Stewart was just too freaky for me. He did not act like an upper class gentleman from the 1800's. Scott did. He was believable. David Warner was awesome as Bob Cratchet, and I kinda liked the take on the Ghost of Christmas Past. The Ghost of Christmas Present was also very well played. Be that as it may, A Christmas Carol has always embodied to me the TRUE meaning of Christmas.

I think...
and said : Obama is an eloquent speaker. He talks and talks and captivates a crowd. But he says very little. I do think that he is too inexperienced and, under pressure, it will show. I also believe that all this crap about change is just that, crap. I will lay odds that he could care less about the black majority, or the down-trodden minorities. He just told them what they wanted to hear to get their votes. I keep hearing about how we elected "a black man" for president. Gimme a break. He is half white. If his genes had been such that he looked more caucasian than black then no one would have made such a big deal about it. The blacks would have been saying "yeah sure. Ya don't look like a brotha" He's an oreo, so deal with it. But neither here nor there, I think his level of dishonesty is worse than most candidates I have ever seen in this or any other election. But we shall see what he is TRULY made of. I do wish he would read some of these web sites so he could really get a feel for our concerns.

What an asinine statement. Blacks can be as racists as whites.
and said : Any nationality (I resist the use of the term "race" as we are all members of the same race...the human race) can be capable of bigotry. Humans have made hatred a science, and have truly become experts at it. Does any nationality have the right to be "racist". Nope. Cause the human race sucks. And we are all members.

and said : I am not normally an "old-fashioned" minded person, however on this topic, I am. If you want to be gay that is your decision. But I do not think it is , for want of a better word, natural behavior. The only creatures that come ever close to being gay, are those that can change sex in a same sex environment. So please don't tout being gay as normal or natural, it isn't. I am tired of all the "statements" the gay community are trying to shove down everyones throat. I don't advertise to the world my sexual preferences, so why do they? And I certainly don't try to get some sort of financial compensation because of my preference (as a married couple they would be eligible for certain tax breaks). So they need to drop the issue cause I'm tired of hearing about their chosen lifestyle.

and said : Absolutely. This actually shouldn't even be a question. But with the current commisioner, Vick will likely get away with (pardon the phrase) murder. Just like Pac Man Jones. So the fact that he has violated the NFL's code of conduct may not really matter. He SHOULD be banned from playing. But chanced are that is not what is going to happen. That is becasue the commisioner is as much of a thug as his beloved players are. Back in the day, when class meant something, Vick would never play again. Now there are very few classy football players left. It is a shame because it is telling our kids that crime is ok. Yeah Vick is a criminal, he tortured and brutally killed dogs. But he'll get his job back. It's ok. And you have no idea how much this pisses me off.
