and said : Misery and pain are two cancers that plague far too many lives. How can i find peace and joy when my brothers and sisters are starving in Jamaica and Haiti, being hounded and murdered like orphan dogs in Palestine, falsely imprisoned in the U.S., and ill treated everywhere else in the world. There is only salvation through ending our strife and living in unity. You need not agree with your neighbor, but you better respect him.

He can hide behind his wall of environmental protection, but he is CEO and on the board of many of the largest companies in the country ie. companies and big business pollute more than anyone. This is terrible and things have to change
and said : We've sat back far too long and accepted this type of punishment for far too long. I don't care what you call it, Bell was murdered. Even if you believe the lies about him and defend the racist swine eaters who killed him, they went far beyond their "call." No justice, no peace.

and said : We cannot have peace until all realize that they cannot push around the weak and oppressed. When someone hits you, hit them back. It is not violence when done right, it is self defense. And only through our pride in ourselves will others respect us. Pre-emptive strikes are still wrong though, don't get my words twisted. And never take kindness for weakness, or humbleness for cheapness.

and said : Where the money should go is to educating prisoners in sociology, economics, and other useful skills that will both rehabilitate them, and get them set to reenter society. I know this is about child molesters, and I am going off topic to general prisoners. But prison only hardens people and gives them plenty of time to make criminal contacts. It is like criminal school. When you see someone who has just gotten out of prison, people go 'oh, shit' and not 'good, i bet he has been rehabilitated and is not more trustworthy than the average Joe.' The US has more prisoners than any other country, obviously prisons are not working, and neither is Politicians cries of "Tough on crime"

and said : For the death penalty to be 'just' punishment, it must be reserved for those who kidnap their victim years in advance, and give them the date they will die, and take care of them until them (torture and intimidation aside). I know none of you will like what I have to say, but killing someone won't bring anyone back, the most we can do is REHABILITATE our criminals. It is true, some people do not belong on the streets (like cold blooded murders--and I'm not here to judge). Prison has become the fastest growing public housing tract in the country, and serves to only harden people, not make them fit to reenter society.

and said : If you are into statistics, check the disproportional rate at which African Americans are sent to prison for crimes whites get off for. I've been harassed by the police, but never beaten. I can't say the same for many other people, but I can say I've never met a white beaten by the police.
